In today's adventure I unbox the 50th Anniversary Disney World Monorail and put it around our Christmas Tree! I show you all the pieces and how to put it together and then show you how it runs! We actually run into a problem with my monorail too! Watch and find out what's wrong with my monorail! Leave us a comment if you have the 50th monorail or any monorail! We have ours under the tree also. We noticed when the monorail slew down or starting acting up all it need was fresh batteries.

That was nice,when I was a kid I put my Lionel train around the tree..brought back nice memories...nice seeing pup Chloe and Dad helping out also.

John and I enjoyed watching! We set up our old monorail from 1994 around the tree but after seeing yours we'd like to get a new one. The old one doesn't have the platform, doors don't open and it's not remote controlled. But we are lucky it still works and even the announcement still plays!

We have a colourful plastic kids train that we put under the tree. It plays the “Small World” song over and over and over! 😆

Still have mine from nearly 20 years ago when they did the original park exclusive set which is still my favorite of all the releases. They are quite collectible today. It had add ons like the TTC switch track, Spaceship Earth, etc. I like that they still use a lot of the same elements like the sturdy ABS track and support columns. Never got any of the later releases that came with characters etc. Love the station stop feature in this!

We had problems with our 50th Monorail. There are pretty much hardly any instructions and we had to play around with it a while. But it's works like it should now, other than getting stuck and we have to shake the rail to get it going again. Disappointed a bit, but we will still display it every Christmas from now on as our new tradition.

I love this! We always had a train around our tree growing up. Last year we decided to use the Hogwarts Express Lego set, Lego train tracks and a motor to fit the train from Amazon! It was so magical to have around the tree!!

Wow, I am glad you caught that the first one was glitchy! I was totally immersed in the monorail "realm" (if you will) and was just thinking it was stopping the way it was on the station on purpose and didn't notice it wasn't lining up properly. Glad the second one was better, minus the door issue. I wish I had a monorail under my tree, but I do not (yet). Perhaps I will get one for myself soon! Now I know what to look for on it if I do get one.

Great video! I have the 2021 Christmas train going around my tree. If I were an AP holder, at that price plus discount, I couldn't have resisted either! My son thinks I need the monorail to go next to or over the train, so it would have been a no-brainer! 😂

I got one of the 50th Anniversarry Monorail and had to actually take apart the cars and loosen the cover over the gears and the doors work a lot better still not 100% but a lot better then it was it was a balancing game to loose and they wouldn't work either you have to find the sweet spot.

Wait doesn't it seem backwards that the announcement says the doors are closing and then they open then there is just a bing when they close? Lol love it though. My husband has a Christmas train and we love to incorporate it into our Christmas village display!

Hi, I have one and the track was a little big so I was thinking about buying the straight tracks on eBay. I had some issues with it also. It seemed better when I changed the batteries but now I am wondering if I should change it.
