Hi I watched this for the first time, thought you were an excellent teacher by the way and very funny too. I’ve bought the machine and now I’m….eeeek……so excited to have a go, I’ve never done any machine embroidery and it’s something I’ve been wanting to try for ages. I read about lots of machines but this truly sold it for me so thank you Aisha 😊

Also I have noticed that the Bernette b79 YA YA HAN that I have seems to like embroidery file types of EXP, if fed PES file types it will cause errors such as not stopping for color changes. Anyone else notice this on there machine??

Why do I get a screen to leas a bobbin? I changed it to the red arrow as indicated and still get the same screen when I turn the machine on?

I think this is a BERNINA embroidery feature. not sure but I have to check if we can tweak this in the setting. I will check and let you know!

What table would you recommend? Does the table you are using jiggle when embroidering?

The only ones we know is the sew Ezi. The tables DO jiggle on embrodiery. Maybe a sturdier table which you can carpenter - needs to have thick table top and strong legs. Would work best !

Hi from the U.S. Can the B79 sew through as many layers of denim or vinyl as the B77? Guess I'm asking if the B79 loses any sewing ability because it also does embroidery. Thank you.

hey there! b79 sewing is exactly as the B77 :-) i dont think the added embroidery features takes away from teh sewing capacity. do you have the opportunity to do a layer sewing test before you buy? that is the bst way to confirm your doubts!

this won't be done on the machine- letter spacing as in. what I would recommend is you can use TOOLBOX editing (comes with the machine) to get the embroidery spaced as you need before putting it into the machine!

Anyone notice that when she threaded the needle with the green thread that she missed the second thread guide loop and went directly to the needle from the first guide loop. I wonder if that worked for her? I have the b79 YA YA Han edition and always thread thru both guide loops, even tho the quick start guide book shows it differently depending on which picture you look at. One picture shows step 7 & 8 , both guides threaded but then the next picture shows just guide loop 1 threaded and doesn't show guide loop 2, very misleading to me. I guess it will work either way you thread it?? It is just a guide loop.
