@@Mightypeit’s cuz after Steve jobs died, the old designer who made the skeumorphism design left Apple and a new designer was hired. I forgot their names since I watched videos and read articles about it in 2020 but you can search it up. Anyways, as part pf the new era of Apple, they changed whole UI design to a simplistic design.
Reason that apps and internet is not working is because it cannot communicate over https. Most servers only accept https. And of course the api changes but the https is the most major one
Dude your channel is going to blow up. Amazing quality stuff. My favorite “vintage” Apple product is the iPhone 5 on IOS 6. It was beautiful and blazing fast.
I preordered the att version of this iPad when it first came out. I thought I was the coolest kid in my high school. It felt miraculous like how is all of this screen and data in my hands
I miss a lot of my old Apple products. I miss my old plastic MacBook. My iPhone 3G, I miss the feel of it in my hand. But the original iPad was so heavy, it felt like the aluminium shell was very thick, and that big bulge at the back. It really was just a massive iPhone. Loved playing with it, my kids loved the fake BBQ app, lots of good memories. But don't miss the device itself.
Apple died in the moment when they moved to flat boring design. Old design had personality, depth and was fun to use. Now you only interact with black or white blobs.
