Been mulling over one of these for at least a year, Most of the current youtube videos lack a bit of detail. Looking forward to seeing how your installation and usage goes
The actual price is the same. The 600 pounds difference is the warranty insurance. With jp you have no warranty whatsoever in case anything goes wrong you are on your own. But perhaps well worth the risk.
The warranty and possible cost of returning the boiler to China for returns is a big factor. We did ask a bunch of questions around support, who pays for returns, etc.. which we'll be covering in a review video. So far JP have been VERY responsive in answering questions when we've emailed. My experience of how poor Truma's customer service is that JP are winning that competition by a country mile so far. I've had horrendous experience over the years with lack of response and first line support from Truma.
@offgrid_power my experience working with Chinese once cooling off period passed 2-3 months and money successfully landed in the pocket the warranty flies out of the window. Hopefully, I am wrong. But that's why I said in a previous msg that perhaps taking the risk and saving 600 pounds is well worth it.
