I was able to finally upgrade my 25 yo serger with an air professional serger by Janome. What a dream machine for me! Congratulations on your new serger!
I can’t wait to see what videos you’re gonna put out with this because this is next on my list!!! I’ve wanted one for a long time. Thank you Allan cause you always on point inspiring us.
Blue or Pink it is all Green. So forget the haters out there and continue to be Green.🤗 My sister bought me one and it is still in the box and now you have me wanting to take it out the box and I will be on the journey with you.🙏🏽
I posted on your ig post about wanting one and my mother actually got me one for my birthday so I'm so excited!!!! Not the same brand you have but I'm still excited to learn.
Congratulations on your new Serger. I have a Brother 1034dx Serger couple of months ago and I don't know why I did not get it sooner. It's a game changer for sewers. 🎉🎉🎉
You should have gotten a Brother serger. I have both a Brother and a JUKI and the JUKI has always given me problems. It’s currently in the closet. The Brother 1034D out sergers the JUKI anyday and it cost less. Also you don’t always serger two fabrics together. It depends on what kind of fabric you are using. Woven fabric is sergered piece by piece before you sew the pattern pieces together on a sewing machine. Stretch fabric you can serger the pieces together when making a garment. Sergers are used to keep the fabric from fraying and to give a nice finished look inside your garments . You can also use a serger to create decorative edges to your garments. Hope this helps.
No, serger thread is NOT the same as embroidery thread. You can get serger thread at joann, online, etc. You CAN use sewing thread on the smaller spools as well.
Thank you for closing that up for me. 🙏🏾. So i can use regular cotton thread instead of the 100 polyester thread. I guess it’s just personal preference. .
