I received mine in February. I ordered it during the Halloween special of last year. It’s absolutely amazing. Mine didn’t come with the adjustable gas block though. I’m kind of jealous but absolutely love my rifle. The wood is gorgeous.
Lmao looks like the same quality I make. Exactly why I learned to make my own and have rifles that are just as nice as this at half the price. (No labor cost or increased profit margins on parts. Non-refinished wood. They put the absolute minimal time into this gun.
congrats on your new rifle! I also have a Pestilence and it's been awesome! I'm jealous of the adjustable gas block, that's really cool! I'll be putting a KNS piston in mine soon. I shoot a wolverine on mine and its really nice. Mine actually cycles subs too which is cool. Make sure you get some shooting footage!!
@@godsdozer I love my wolverine, only thing thats negative is that its heavy. But it sounds great. I use it on my ak and 300 win mag. Its super impressive on the 300 win mag!
So I’m just curious. I want one but don’t know a ton about them. So Meridian Defense orders a parts kit, cleans it up a little, adds a pic rail, refinishes the wood and then charge $2300 dollars.? Am I missing something?
It's a parts kit build...so they use an american receiver either theirs or some other companies and the parts come in from decommissioned military rifles...may have force matching parts or what not from military wear and being replaced...basically the gun has alot of history but is rebuilt to like new condition...wasr10s in many ways are new production of the same thing tho minus the dimpled magwells
@@Gmny1MOAoh gotcha. Sounds cool and thanks for the info. IDK, doesn’t really sound like they are worth that much money. Maybe I’ll go with a milled arsenal.
They are really nice guns and really light weight, flat shooting, and good parts... I got mine over 4yrs ago, so not "limited edition" like this guys says but its a much better rifle by 10x than a wasr.. Mine was literally under $1400 back then, and was tough to swallow at that price so I understand.. My two wasr's are not anywhere near the same.. Also I would rather have the 1969 trunnion and bolt/carrier than a modern one period.. Also the receiver is much better than a wasr with the dimples and not razor sharp edges everywhere..
How do you figure this is "Limited Edition",?? I bought one over 4yrs ago.. They have made a shit ton of them.. regardless I agree on the Tango Down grip.. I love the TD grip as its def the best grip for an AK as it helps you support the gun with its angle, but it def doesn't match the style of the gun whatsoever.. I also got a factory romy surplus grip, they were like $6-7 bucks each.. I bought 3 at once and used the best colored one to use that matched my rifle the best as they all look very different, and man it makes the rifle look so much better..
Good point. Thats what it was called "officially" on the invoice. Agree the grip just look better going with the old style, but agree the grip they ship is great.
@@timothypeterson1903 Romanian kit. Ultimak. Adjustable gas block. 14.5 pinned barrel with keymo device that is actually aligned so you can run a suppressor. Custom trigger. Custom wood finish. Custom cerekote finish. If you bought all the parts and had someone build it for you, I’d bet it’d cost about the same amount. It’s not everyone’s jam which is totally cool, and may not be worth it to you, but the value in the gun is there.
