Got to love an X-ray I be interested in seeing how well them inserts hold up that adjust the diff cup height. I love running xray they are so durable and the quality is insane
Yes sir ! We will see how they hold up and wear. That's exactly why i love the xray too. In 1,5 year of intensive running and racing i didn't break or replace much. Absolute quality 👌
Thanks buddy. The new one has a 13 beveldrive so the teeth of the crowngear are at a different angle. So if i want to take two sets of diffs on a raceweekend, i need to buy two new crowngears. They will fit the older diffcase. But since my old crowngears are fine and which i have two sets. Why spend over €100 for new ones. And the gearratio is the same. If you run a little droop the screws are pretty far in so it's not on all threats, then it strips easely with hard hits. And longer droopscrews interfere with the drivecup if you run more droop. It's thinner on top to clear the drivecup and on the bottom for high droop. Could be thicker on the bottom imo. This droop is really high, haven't seen anyone run that much droop. Or maybe better solution place the droopscrews 7mm backwards so it doesn't interfere with the drivecups.you can use longer screws and the arm could be thicker on top there. And on the rear arm it's 3mm frontwards and thicken the plastic. One thing of criticism. 😅 imo
@@kings-racing ook i understand, makes sense, why did they change the diffs gears? Have you ever broken a diff? Yeah the droop stuff is an issue but minimal issue. Still n°1 in my wish list. Plus parts compatibility with previous models is a very good thing for the wallet
@@TastyBRC the new gears supose to have smoother operation, less drag and longer life span. But i have no issues with it at all and my gears are still really good. Never broke anything on these diffs, only replaced drivecups due wear. It's sertainly a good thing a lot off 2021 parts fit, it saves me a lot of money indeed.
Last thing i heard when Ronnefalk left Mayako, is that they had money problems and weren't producing cars for the last 8 months. You might wanna read into that before you buy and check parts availability. That's pretty important. Think Mayako is a good c hub car, but i'm definitely a xray fan. Most durable car out there. Absolute quality. Don't know the parts availability were you are at, but here it's great. So if you ask me, i would definitely choose xray
