Thats a good deal for $30. Think about it as a gift for any adult children or their other halves that may not yet understand or be into "preparedness". A big stocking stuffer at Christmas... When all my girls turned 16 and started driving, I made them "scuda" (stay comfortable until dad arrives) bags. Probably had $200 in each bag. My middle daughter pushing 30, now with 3 kids, recenlty moved back home transitioning out of the service, in the back of her suv still laid the original "scuda"!

A gentleman in a knife making group tested an Ozark Trail knife like that. It was 410 stainless which is a non hardening stainless.

Great video, I think that a great pack. I am a 5 c’s of survival type of guy so I would add a few thing to it but not bad pack!!!!!

I agree that it is missing a few things; emergency blanket, first aid boo-boo kit, garbage bag (can be used for multiple applications), charger cord for the phone. But the $ value of the pack is what got me. You get well over $80 worth of stuff for $30.

Yeah..... I noticed that. I need to figure out what I am doing wrong. This mic belonged to my daughter and she did not give me the instruction manual.

I don't know where all these youtube folks are finding this kit. My walmart has a 17 piece kit for the same price. Only vaguely similar to this one.

My Walmart got in two. I purchased one and the other went really fast. I think the "survival" community is pretty efficient. As soon as word of this got out, people rushed to buy them.

I stop by my Walmart every 10 days or so, and they always seem to have 2 or three on the peg.

Would not touch this junk. Yes it is cheap but you can make cheap survival kits out of things round home. Plus theere is a ton of weight which would mean you are unlikely to carry.

I think you are correct that this stuff is low quality. There is an argument that GHB gear does not need to be the highest quality EDC gear out there. Remember, the point of a GHB is to "get you home".... period. How good does gear have to be to "get you home"? It is a good question that is worthy of discussion.
