Like you said sir, a few additions and subtractions and you have a decent better than nothing starter/practice/teaching kit! Awesome video and presentation! Thanks!
No one seems to notice that an EDC kit should be specialized for the person using it, based on things like where a person is located and his/ her knowledge. For example, the mesh head cover would be useless where I live because mosquitoes aren’t prevalent. Also, the less you know about how to take of yourself in the outdoors, the more tools you will need. The more knowledge, the less tools you need because you are more self-sufficient.
Not such a bad kit.. yes it has some faults but it's a start.. ditch a few whistles, the chain saw and belt loop thingy and throw in a emergency. blanket or bivy and a lighter for back-up and it's a start !
As you, and many others have said, the bottom line is adapt it to your needs, depending on your locale. My wife gave me an awesome first aid kit and I customized it to my needs; really didn’t need to do a lot to it.
Good entry ⛔ level kit 😊 Card tool...keep it. Bottle opener comes handy. Agreed need mylar blanket 👍 Would have preferred their folder pocket shovel. Not even a band-aid packet😮
Brother, I think I would enjoy a video on occasion of you trying out some of the equipment in these kits ,so we your viewers want be fooled into purchasing something that is extremely poor quality. Thank you, sir, for your videos
I work at Walmart and just set the modular for the camping/survival area. We hadn’t gotten this in yet and I was curious to see if it was going to be total crap. Haven’t watched the video yet but, am looking forward to doing so.
Good job the kit is not bad to start at and it’s only 29.00 , but like you said it’s better than nothing , some of the stuff I would like to have some I would throw out. I have not seen the kit here in zephyrhills fl. Where I live and when I do find one I’m going to get it.
Good video, I'm with you....i wouldn't say that it's worth 30 dollars, and it should have included things like a space blanket for shelter, something to hold and purify water, and first aid elements and such, but it's a start, and you can easily add things to supplement it and Taylor it to your individual needs and skill set. So although not the best kit, I've seen worse.
As a survival expert myself believe it or not I started out with a kit similar to this from Amazon and upgraded as my skills progressed I always tell people if your just starting out do go spend 5 to 600 on a kit intact I would barley spend 150 the one I have now iv spent 1500 on but it took time to get to that point a beginning survivalist don't need an expensive kit
Great job buddy you doin fine job doin what your doin I would rather have that then nuttin at tall just sayin and is that Ozark stuff pedaled by the big box stores I don't get out to town just curious but also this leads me to another question the ferral rods these days are lookin pretty darn good and in the last kit 15 bucks was worth that alone hey?
Thank you very much for your support. Ozark Trail item are sold in Walmart. And yes those ferro rods are looking another better than previous ones in the Ozark trail kits. Again better than nothing. Thx for watching
