When I clicked the video, I fully expected to want the Collector's Edition all over again, knowing I wouldn't be able to spend that kind of money, so I was surprised that there was a giveaway as well going on! If possible, I would definitely like to enter. The only visual novel I have ever played would be the first Coffee Talk. I only had to watch a few minutes of a streamer playing it to know I wanted to try it for myself, and I have never regretted it for a second. Coffee Talk took me ages to complete just for the fact I didn't want the game to end. I love how the writers incorporated such real-world scenarios in the conversations with the characters in a fantasy styled game, and still managed to keep it relaxing and thoughtful at the same time. I was so glad they managed to complete the sequel and will be forever grateful for what Mohammad Fahmi allowed us to experience.

My favorite visual novel is Va-11 Hall-A. It's very similar to coffee talk where you serve drinks and listen/chat with customers. It has a cyberpunk style to it, and the music is great.

My favourite visual novel is the game “999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors” on the Nintendo DS. Coffee Talk is quite an interesting cozy looking Visual Novel type game and I’ve been absolutely loving cozy games recently so this might be a great addition! Thank you for doing a great giveaway!

I'm interested in the giveaway! I don't often play pure visual novels, but I've been playing through CollarxMalice lately and been enjoying it! One of my favourite pastimes is to sit in a little coffee shop and just experience the atmosphere and whilst playing the demo of the first Coffee Talk game, I really felt that feeling, too

As coffee drinker this game sounded right away so familiar.. visiting different city.. drinking coffee.. and looking for how people are going to the different destinations.. and this and other reasons is why coffee talk interests me so count me in giveaway 🙂 Actually, the country where I live in.. is one of those countries with a lot of coffee drinkers.. it's part of culture.. and workplace breaks.. time to relax and share knowledge..

Thanks for the awesome giveaway opportunity. I’m interested! My favourite visual novel has to be Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward. The story always had me at the edge of my seat. The characters are very well written, and the soundtrack perfectly creates an eerie and mysterious atmosphere to the game. Va-11 Hall-A is a close second.

I would love to enter this! My personal favorite visual novel is Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations. The story is intriguing, and it has some of my favorite cases in the whole series. Godot loves his coffee as well.

13 Sentinels Aegis Rim is my favorite visual novel. Love the story, art style and direction (it is, after all, Vanillaware game), and the RTS gameplay segments) I enjoy listening to lo-fi music at work and am interested in what the game has to offer with regards to story.

Hi Emily! I've been subscribed for several months but this is my first time commenting. I really enjoy your content and I think it's really amazing that you are offering this giveaway. I would like to be entered. I haven't played a lot of visual novels but the one that stands out to me is Astrologaster. You play as a not-quite-a-doctor in Shakespearean London that uses astrology and clues from your patients to diagnose and treat them. I love the absurdist Monty Python-esque humor and the chorus that moves the narrative along through song. I have the first Coffee Talk but haven't played through it yet. But it definitely sounds like something I would enjoy, as does the sequel.

I wish to enter the giveaway. My favorite visual novel is technically a visual novel/tactical RPG hybrid with "13 Sentinels". However Coffee Talk Episode 1 was my favorite pure visual novel. Not only was it satisfying to experience due to its calm vibes, but it actually got me through a deep depression last year and it has a lot of sentimental value. I hope the creator, Mohammad Fahmi, knew his game had a positive impact on people before he passed. He made a true gem and the sequel was made by his team to honor his memory and give him the send off he deserved.

My favorite visual novel is VA-11 Hall-A because it really feels like a futuristic bar where you just want to relax and talk with interesting people and hear their perspectives on different topics. I love these games, super cosy. The UK edition seems to ship them both in the same box/cart, at least they're marketing it as a doublepack with dual cover art (it's pre-order in the UK until the 27th). Not sure if I prefer both together or separate, I imagine it's cheaper together though.

I love that pixel art games are having some sort of renaissance ❤️ would love to win the collector‘s edition to unbox it in a video on my channel, that was hugely inspired by watching yours grow over the last year (only started uploading recently and it’s hard to find an audience as a drag queen lol). My favorite visual novel to date is definitely To the Moon. Makes me bawl every time and THEE plot twist is executed so beautifully. Also looking forward to replaying Digimon Survive soon, loved that one to bits!

I'd love to win the collector's edition of Coffee Talk! I've always struggled with getting into visual novels because a lot of them are "press X to advance." From the gameplay videos I've watched about Coffee Talk, it looks a lot more involved than standard VNs while still focusing on the character relationships. My current favorite VN is "A Summer's End." The citypop and vaporwave soundtrack, the historical narrative, and its contemporary art style hit all the right buttons (pun intended)!

Yes, definitely interested in entering the giveaway....My favorite visual novel is probably 999, but I am currently playing through the Dark Pictures Anthology (which is kind of on the edge of the visual novel classification) and really enjoying that too. Thanks for the giveaway! Weirdly, I feel like I haven't finished many visual novels even though I've played a lot of games with VN elements... and own a ton of VN on my backlog LOL. I even have the spiritual older sister to this game, Va-11 Hall-A; the Japanese physical has gorgeous cover art and I got it when I was over there earlier in the year, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Heck, I played a bit of the demo for Coffee Talk a while ago too, it was pretty enjoyable! If we're stretching the definition then P3 is my all time favourite game and I did like the VN/social link elements more than the dungeon crawling. If we're just going pure visual novels, Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet is a kinetic novel that I remember liking, but it's been so long that I don't remember it super well. Milk Inside a Bag of Milk Inside a Bag of Milk is another one that I played more recently. Absolutely bizarre, but I enjoyed it, even though it's more a 20 minute ??? than a proper game. Also, I find it interesting that both Coffee Talk and Va-11 Hall-A, the two prominent "make drinks while watching people talk" games, were both developed in "non-major" game dev countries (Indonesia and Venezuela respectively). Just another random parallel that ties them together more than the gameplay already does.

I’d love to participate in this giveaway! I haven’t played a whole lot of visual novels yet, but one that I love is Ace Attorney. I’m pretty into the murder mystery genre in general, and when you add unique characters and genuinely funny writing on top of that, it makes for a truly special experience.

After watching the anime I played the game on pc and really enjoyed it, I love games with romance and in Clannad you choose the love interest for the main character and the story plays out differently depending on your choices. So far, I’ve only played a couple of visual novels so I need to get into more before I choose a favorite, but I love the look of coffee talk! And oddly enough, it wasn’t until my 30s that I tried coffee and now I start my day with it :)

I would love to enter! I adore visual novels! I personally enjoy Yuri ones the most but love them in general. My favorite is Highway Blossoms by Studio Elan! They make Yuri focused vn’s. HB was their first and I know the writer and the musician for it! I bonded with them as a fan. Mostly with the musician Smoke Thief. The music is amazing and I own the vinyl that was limited time. Played the game SO many times. The vn has voice acting but when it first dropped it didn’t. It’s a very good one because of the writing and the characters. Highly recommend ☺️

I nearly imported them separately from PlayAsia as I really wanted them for my Switch, but luckily heard the news that they've partnered with Numskull Games for a physical release here in Europe so instead I've been patiently waiting for the regional release in my country. Btw, I also wanted to thank you for all the videos you've been putting out on your channel. They've been super useful for me as I started collecting for Switch - with an emphasis on JRPGs and VNs - just earlier this year.

I want to enter please. I haven't played much but I've played and really enjoyed arcade spirits. As someone with clinic anxiety these interactive novels really help me stay relaxed whilst at the same time allow me to escape to a fantasy world with interaction and cool choices to make, I also loved goosebumps chose your own adventure books as a kid so the love probably comes from there.

I haven't played my copy of Ghost Trick yet but there is a bit of a point & click element to Coffee Talk! Though instead of interacting with objects like in Ghost Trick you're mostly just chilling with the characters and making specialty drinks for them :)

My favourite visual Novel game has to be Steins Gate on the Vita. The story kept me glued to my Vita and this looks like it will be amazing for the Switch. That tote bag is amazing to. It looks like a very chill game that the wife and I would love to play. I am very interested in entering this giveaway. Much love from the UK.

I think I've had my subscriptions private for as long as I've had a RU-vid channel, but ok I'll make them public since I'm interested in the giveaway. I started playing visual novels with the Ace Attorney games on DS, and if I had to pick a favorite it'd be that series. I already know I'm getting the Apollo Justice trilogy release in January despite already owning all three games on DS/3DS. Ace Attorney has become my go-to "You should try this!" series. I have one friend who I spent a year trying to get them into various game series I enjoy with not much luck, and then finally convinced them to play Phoenix Wright and they near-instantly became invested.

I would love to get the game. Only visual novel game i have played is Doki Doki Literature Club. So would love to get Coffee Talk to try out more visual novel games as I love story driven games. Also Coffee Talk looks like a great cozy game that would be fun to play and relax to and I love just sitting at coffee shops and reading/working which this gives me the vibe of.

Hi Emily! I’m interested in entering! My favorite visual novel thus far has been 13 Sentinels because the narrative was so phenomenal that I became invested in all of the characters and wanted to know where they would wind up. I’m glad I went in blind regarding the story because there were so many exciting twists and turns. I also loved the visual aesthetic coupled with strong audio (both music and voiceovers). The ability to toggle between routes for different characters was refreshing and, while I tried avoiding the strategy segments as long as I could, I wound up enjoying them once I had no choice but battle to advance the narrative. Since I was more interested in the story, I played those on the easiest setting, and I appreciate the option was there. I don’t typically play longer narrative-based games more than once, but I could see myself playing this one again down the road. It’s like sitting down and watching a great 30-hour movie. This game and the Great Ace Attorney Chronicles served as my gateway into the visual novel genre, and I’ve gotten a few others under my belt since then. Being a fan of point and click adventure games in the 1990s also helped.

count me in! I'll enter! My favorite visual novel of all time is probably Norn 9 on the psvita. I really need to get a hold of the switch release honestly.. But I just love the sci-fi romance elements, and out of the entire cast I think I only truly dislike one of the romance options? which I find extremely rare for me with otome visual novels. ^^

I would love to enter the giveaway, so far my favorite visual novel style game would either be Virtue's Last Reward or Ai The Somnium Files. The stories and characters are truly fantastic in each but I just can't get over how good they were in Somnium Files. The Ace Attorney is another one of those visual novel style games that I do love, in fact I believe it was my first experience in the genre.

Long time lurker first time comment lol. I really admire your passion for video games as I've been collecting 3ds and switch games too and girl power! I am interested in your giveaway. I've been wanting to play Coffee Talk for a long time as I need coffee to survive myself. I haven't played a lot of visual novels but what I've played I would say Doki Doki Literature Club Plus because I was so shocked at the turn of events and I wasn't expecting it. I'm extremely interested loved the 1st game. While I'm not entirely sure if people consider it a VA but Ace Attorney is my favorite, love the detective gameplay and the music is incredible. Second favorite would probably be Steins;Gate, loved the anime and wanted to see the origins of it and even though I knew most of the plot already it didn't ruin the experience at all.

I want to enter the give away, and a visual novel that I like is Hotel Dusk: Room 215 on the DS. You hold the console like a book, and not a lot of DS games do that. The animation of the characters is good, and the puzzles are great.

Would love to enter your giveaway, seems fun! Death Mark is one of my favourites. I love the creepy atmosphere it has and it's perfect as a horror game on the Switch. It is very brutal so for people who can't handle a lot of blood and guts, don't play it haha.

thanks a lot for the giveaway, I rarely comments on video so feel a bit bad but I'm giving it a try :) My favorite VN is the first one I ever played, Steins Gate on my PS VITA back then ! I didn't know the genre before and as a more RPG girl that does not watch a lot of anime, this genre seemed a bit weird to me (yes I admit !) But the time travel plot was interesting, the characters are likable with bits of romance and comedy. Everything needed to keep you following the story :) I never heard of Coffee talk before your video so thanks for the discovery :)

Hey Emily. Ive never played any visual novels but i like your taste in games. We have similar styles in gaming. The closet thing ive played to a novel is probably Catherine Full body and Persona 5 royal is one of my favorites from Atlus. Those stories are very intuitive. Another game similar was called Erica but it was like a movie based game. That was interesting. But im not sure those qualify Or i should enter since ive never played a novel. The pixel art looks amazing though. Best of luck to whomever wins and can appreciate these games.
