I'm waiting patiently for my copy and watching this video makes me soooo excited! It's the details that you thought about that I REALLY appreciate (from the production point of view): * the rulebook being not the size of the box if it doesn't need to ( I find it a little bit difficult to flip through the square ones... ) * the small cut outs in the punch boards for fingers to fit in, to get them out of the box * vibrant meeple and other wooden bits colours * tray manual you showed on one of your previous updates looks great! overall ♥
We are honored that you've chose us as your very first experience with Kickstarter, and we hope that you will be satisfied and happy with the final game we will fulfill! :) Actually yes, we will have a soundtrack, here is a little sneak peek: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-81OsYO1QlKg.html
Poor Toad meeple got forgotten at the bottom of the insert. :P Can't wait to get my pledge. Absolutely MAGICAL. Any news from the soundtrack that was in process a few updates ago?
Thanks for your nice words! :) We are still in preparation with Lyregard about the release of the soundtrack, but probably we will publish it aligned with the next KS update late May.
I noticed there are two potion boards. Why not remove the plastic cauldron to make the cardboard potion board with two layers? Lessoning the weight and thickness of the box instead of adding more cm as mentioned in your recent update. Will the game trays be able to withstand or last long with all that weight packed?
Actually, the punchboard potion board fit in the cauldron shaped tray - see photos in our KS update here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/mindclash/septima/posts/3794544
I'm a little concerned about the game trays being on top like that. Doesn't seem like they could hold the weight of a bunch of them being stacked on top of each other for freight shipping.
The cardboard is absolutely sturdy, as we mentioned in the update - even without proper packaging (like it will have during the fulfillment), there was no external damage at all. :)
@@mindclashgames Not the cardboard I was concerned about, you all always have great box quality. It's the fact it's a lifted box lid, and the lift is being supported by some plastic game trays.
