Interesting. I notice the 45s have the small hole in the center like they did them in the UK vs. the larger hole in the center of US 45s. I like that better. You don't need to use an adapter.
Sympathy For The Devil cover art looks too modern, so out of place compared to the incredible graphic design of all the previous… what happened there? Was it not a single back then & added later? Otherwise looks brilliant.
And you look very sad and disingenuous lol BUT TRUE. It was si sad experience wasting 9..56 minutes of you faking that WOW and when you said I'll see you on the flip side! Wow again because you sounded so uninterested it's like you wanted to cry, l had to watch it 10 time's, the disconnect between your sad demeanor and I'll see you on the flip side was so hilarious. Love your channel and you as a person, if you was poorly I'm sorry for the rag, it was funny though
These Stones Decca / London singles were done on CD as three boxes about twenty years ago. Same basic concept with a little bit different contents. The Brown Sugar / Wild Horses single on Abkco is unique to this box though. Originally they were on different singles released on Rolling Stones Records. The reason is a bit too complicated to explain in a RU-vid comment. Does the booklet go into that at all?
I should mention that this 45 was released with the Sticky Fingers box. The big difference is the Abkco didn't (couldn't) release the songs on a 45. On this release they are using their '70s logo.
It's a shame that they re-released them as 7" 45s instead of 12" 45s, as the latter have the best sound quality. I get the nostalgia, but quality is preferential.
Been waiting for this since volume 1 release in 2022. Nice finally have pics with MickTaylor. The best guitarist to play with the Stones. The pic sleeve of the Stones is drag is hilarious.
