Hey, I am confused on which one to go for 1. BGA 60 (with 2 AK 30 batteries - one bundled & one additional) 2. BGA 86 (with AP 300s & AL 101) I am from India, both the above options cost the same here 36,000 INR..BGA 60 with 2 AK 30 should give me 32 mins runtime, while BGA 86 with AP300s should give 26 mins of runtime Which one should I go for..? 1. AK series or AP series..? 2. Any difference between 60 & 86 blowers in features/attachments..?

I would say it’s based on future wants/needs. The AP line has more options, more power, longer battery life.

@@carlsmowerandsaw I have no plans on adding products later, it's just the blower & I am not too concerned about charge cycles/battery life as it would rarely be used..it seems BGA 60 suits my requirement

@@carlsmowerandsaw A follow up query, BGA 60 does not have the flat nozzle attachment here . can we expect to get the attachment in the future..? . any possibility that I can retrofit the flat nozzle from BG/BGA 86 on BGA 60..? or . any aftermarket flat nozzle for BGA 60..? It sort of rains throughout the year here (have to deal with lots of wet/heavy leaves)

Are you able to do a BGA60 vs BGA86 comparison?

This is a nice lightweight blower. It seems like it blows as hard as my BGA 86, in boost mode. If Stihl wants converts to their AK system, they ought to dump the ridiculously slow AL 101 charger and make the AL 300 standard issue. This blower will deplete the 4.8ah AK 30 pretty quickly, especially in boost. I'm waiting for the new 5.2ah AK 30 to become available so I can have a second battery.

So you have both the Ak and AP batteries

@@carlsmowerandsaw Yes. I'm just a residential user, and I started out in the AK system, but bought into the AP system mainly because I wanted to try the BGA 100. My lot is small but heavily treed, and blowing debris is sometimes a daily task, and I figured I should spare my neighbors the noise associated with a gas blower. It was an expensive accommodation, however now I really like the battery blowers, mainly because of the reduced noise.

What is boost mode on this BGA 60? I don’t see a dedicated button such as the “turbo” on other brands.

All done by the throttle like on a gas blower.

You are probably the only one on RU-vid who knows…. Is the SHA56 blower comparable to the BGA60 or is it weaker. I would like the vac function, but not at the expense of CFM.

Definitely less power on the SHA56. I believe around 30%

There's Husqvarna gas products too buddy 😊😊. Like the 525LST trimmer l love it powerful and light weight and no vibration Husqvarna is famous for 😊 I don't think Stihl has a trimmer with less vibration very important especially when you get older ❤

The 525 LST is great. I’ll hope to do something soon. How’s the new tool?

What is the honest run time of this blower?
@carlsmowerandsaw

I’d say I average around a 1/2 an hour. That’s a blend of WOT and less
