The 3 colored bottles with corks are wine carafes. The indentation in the bottom is to help keep any sediment from getting in your glass.

Fred Rodgers grew up and lived in Latrobe, Pa. He did attend Rollins College in 1951. But spent his life in Latrobe, PA. Fred sadly passed away in 2003. Fred taped his last show in 2001.

The indention in the small bottles is called a punt. They are to give the bottles extra strength.

I once got a box that said, 'Do not use anything sharp to open the box.' After contemplating that challenge for a few minutes, I just shrugged and very carefully used a scissors. I haven't a clue as to how they thought I was going to get it open. lol. Most likely just protecting themselves if you accidentally cut the product. 😄
