You gave a wonderful review on this topper. Great you showed with your hair up, many people don't show what the actual coverage is (they blend it with own hair) Nice that you said where the clips hit you & how to remove them. Really good job!!!
Thank you for your review. My hair loss has been increasing and my hairdresser recommended one of your earlier videos when I told her that I was looking to try wearing toppers. The information that you provide in your videos along with showing how they look really helped me out. I wound up buying my first topper recently (Jon Renau Top Full 12”) and I just got it today.
Well looks like they finally did it! Seems like a good idea that should have been done to combine the lace front with a full cap but here we are! Color looks incredible and it sounds like its very secure! NIce job! I CANT BELEIVE HE BROKE YOUR CHAIR AHHHHHHHH
Glad Jon listened to your Mega Topper Guide. Now talk him into doing a Shorter Wavy Topper. I have a short wavy bob for my bio hair and simply cutting a wavy topper or wig won't work for me, because the wave starts too low. Not sure if any of that made sense.
I have been wearing toppers for years, and have always had to deal with that awful hard-edge front, right where I have zero hair! I have to put in my own polyurethane strip in the front for the wig tape, and I always have to cut in bangs. I have been searching for a topper that makes sense Iace front with mono or skin top). How nice that Jon Reneau is finally starting to listen to the needs of their customers.
I am so torn on this piece. I have hair loss at top and crown. But I also cut my hair short so I wanted to use this for some length as well. I could do a top full, as the front of my hair is great. So I’m that person lol. But I like lacefronts for the high lighted looks. Your fellow wig sister in leesburg 😊
I’ve been growing my short hair out and can no just barely pull it back in a pony tail. Since my hair is too short and easily seen, I just pull the topper hair and my hair into a low ponytail. Wig toppers for me have been awesome. Full wigs give me a headache and never stay in place even with a wig grip (my head is nearly perfectly round). I can’t even wear wrap around hair bands.
I need Jon Renau Easi Part XL style in a lace front. The larger part being lace front. That's all I need. I have a sparse hairline/triangle. I just don't need a full topper, but can't find what I want/need.
Hi, I just received my first ever topper yesterday in Caramel Kiss RT by estetica and love the color; however, I think there may be more/better topper options in Jon Renau. Can you tell me what color would be the most comparable to the Carmel Kiss? The darker roots and color are almost identical to my own.
It looks great and so happy for you!!!! Question I am a NEW follower and new to the wig world. I am trying to fund my way thru the wig maze. Can you sue a wig for a topper with your own hair down like w/ Adriana Jon Reanu. My hair is long and thinning and I want to wear toppers and I know that they can be made into toppers but the full cap you just showed looked almost the same as a reg wig...I would rather not topperize... scared to cut cap and lose hair when cutting the wig down I want the volume. Closest suggestioj I have for a topper in that style is the 18" Jon Renaus. You might have to have them trimmed a bit on the fringe to get that length. Check out my Top Smart 18" video. That length is the ones I am referring to
Love your videos. Quick question: Can I use tape on the front lace? You did mention that at about 9:00 but wanted to be sure that the tape won’t destroy the lace
After having both of them, I think that the top coverage is a bit too much hair for me. I wear toppers because they're lightweight and are a lot cooler than wigs. So right now I'm sticking with my top smart. But if you need more coverage, the top coverage is the way to go. I do like the hand tied nature. I believe it moves better
Yes! I was hoping you'd do a review on this topper. I got mine from Wig Studio 1 over a week ago. It's my first topper. I have a small head so it seemed like a lot of hair. I combed and combed and that helped tame it. Now, my ends seem dry, frizzy split. Any suggestions on what I can do for the ends? I did use the Jon Renau spray on it.
Hey! Yes ton of hair for sure. Do you have the curly version or straight? If it is straight it's easier but I would suggest using a steamer to smooth out the fibers with a small comb. If it's curly you can do the same thing you just have to be more careful of not going too far up to the wave. The bamboo silicone cream on Amazon works nice as well to reduce friction. But honestly I hate the smell alot.
@@TristasTressesWigs Eww. I suffer from allergies and tend to stay away from products with strong odors. I have the wavy 18 inch. It just sits so high on my head that it looks fake. I try running my fingers through it near the base and there seems to be a lot of tease. That and the hair seems to be directed forward. I understand why they did it that way. It looks good on people. I'll try washing it and combing it out. If not I'll get it steamed and thinned out. Thanks for the reply. I'm glad for videos like yours. I've learned that learning to wear alternative hair is a process.
I can't do lace front and it seems the toppers I luv the look of all have it now. I have severe hot flashes/sweating and the lace does not work for me at all. But I would like to try around a 8-9" base. I've been wearing 5-6". Currently wearing Top Notch amd Top Level. Any suggestions?

It does! It is called Top Smart Wavy for the curly one and the straight one is just called Top Smart. Has the same lace front and clips, just smaller base of 8.5x9". That is as small as they get for lace front with Jon Renau. But if you need a smaller base than that and still a lace front, check out Belle Tress Lace Front Mono as it is even smaller but still keeps the lace front. I have a video on that one too both wavy and straight.
