Unboxing Trumpeter's CH-47A Chinook in 1/72 Scale 

My wife gave me this same kit for my birthday this year. It's my first Trumpeter kit, and I gave it a 10 under my ratings system. Unlike other kits from the same region (China), the instructions look great -- clear and simple -- and the glossy paint guide is great. Some trivia: 'Chinook' is a native-Canadian word for "Warm Wind" that comes down on the east side of the Rockies in late winter, and DANG is it welcomed! Another thing many don't know is that it can actually set down and float on water for a short time, and is still used in many special forces seaborne operations.
