Just ordered this pump and got it in today, and realized there is no power cord. Been trying to search and find one for it, but it's not alot of info for it.
Important task in replacing old pump with a new pump is to align its ports to the existing Rigid pipes of your pool. KEYS ARE; 1) ALIGN THE IN PORT FIRST TO THE SUPPLY PIPE. MAKE SURE the 2 are 100% aligned. HOWEVER, THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE IN REAL LIFE. MY EXPERIENCE IS TO CONNECT TtHE IN PORT WITH AN EXTENSION PIPE N THEN JOIN IT TO THE EXISTING SUPPLY LINE PIPE WITH A Stainless steel WRAPPED RUBBER COUPLING ($10): Sand the 2 ends square and smooth. APPLY Silicon adhesive, GE Supreme Silicone 100% Silicone on both ends' and the inner surfaces of the Rubber coupljng. . Align the two ends within 1/5" with the Ruuber coupling. And tighten the steel screws of the coupling n adjust the pump position accordingly. Job done n let the GE silicone adhesive to cure jn 24 hours. Then next day only, you join the OUT part of the pump the usual way. I designed this to make sure I can replace pump any time n dont have to buy expensive old brand pumps n their installers. Mid prized variable speed pumps manufactured by pimp OEM are excellent, QUIET N EFFICIENT! N save money !
