In this video I am unboxing 3 honey gourami for my planted aquarium, a wild type male and 2 golden females and we even see some breeding behaviour from them!
I recently picked up 2 honey gouramis, gold variety. I was hoping I had a male and female, but I now think they are two females. Mine are so much smaller than yours, not much larger than 2 cm. Lovely, enjoyable fish.
My 20g tank just finished cycling and I am getting 10 chilli rasboras and one male honey gourami. Should I get two more females? I was also planning on getting one hillstream loach as well. Would this be “over stocking”? You have a awesome tank! Last question what is your gh, kh, ph, and temperature?
Great channel! Amazing tank. I was just watching the Nicrew light review and found it really helpful. Plan on picking one up this week! Are you from Northern Ireland by anychance?
The "white" ones are the wild types, like my male, the golden females the i have and you have are a domestically bred colour strain. I just picked it because its more colourful 😁
@@Millsy5 I have actually seem them spawn a couple times but haven't got any fry yet... maybe a future video if you are interested? I would guess just a more pale yellow for females and a more yellow male.
Getting wild fish is absolutely the worst!! How can you say you love these animals and then go and support wildlife destruction and the people who do it??! Not cool, not nice, simply stupid.
