I had EXTREMELY low expectations for this game. Wouldn't have bought it at retail but was given the TOTK Switch OLED as a birthday gift from my finance. It has turned out to be one of the best games I've ever played. I am obsessed with it and wish I had purchased the collectors edition of the game now.
@@finngamer the previews. They were all underwhelming to me until the last trailer. Everything looked like it could have been DLC. I was totally wrong and am glad I was!
Nice. Got the regular edition myself, as well as the Link amiibo. Was there early enough to get one of the goodie bags my local store gave to the first 20 customers.
Finngamer, your collector's edition of TOTK is so cool! I recently got Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All for Nintendo Switch for Christmas, and I had a lot of fun with it, cuz I adore Asterix & Obelix, coming from a Wisconsinite American who love Japanese and European imports in physical form.
Thanks for going through the art book page by page. Saves me to buy the CE cause I know I’m not missing much. Personally I think the new amiibo and Zelda pro controller are more of a collector’s toy :)
@@finngamer i noticed it when i unboxed mine and i went to check if it was all but i found out only the pegi ones dont have an age rating on the collectors edition ones
That is a beautiful collector's edition, and way larger than expected, too! I hope you have tons of fun with the sequel to BotW :) I played for a few hours now and was immediately hooked by the opening. This will be a great adventure! :D
@@finngamer..... It's just nicer packaging really. In Europe we get an outer slip case that covers the actual box. And the box inside is a lift off lid kind of box which is very nice. The US just has flimsy outer packaging and then your in.
So the us box doesnt have the box in a box? Fucks sake man i was really hoping for it to be the box in a box. Just glad i got one. Waiting for the 4 of june to play
All the talk about how there aint no statue yada yada...I think this is actually pretty well chosen content and bit of a fresh air....really statues became very stale at least for me lately. Thank you for the unboxing.
Sorry but these artbooks seem very uninteresting to me, but maybe it is only me. I would flip through it once and then it would collect dust on the book shelf. In another japanese edtiton they added a spoon, saw it in PewDiePies latest video. That is a cool extra, but not another boring artbook. But again that is me!

Honestly for 130$ it’s not a great collectors edition. I would’ve might preferred something like a master sword letter opener to 4 random pins. The art book is awesome but the rest of the stuff isn’t worth paying double the base price
@@finngamer I like that but for 60$ more a lot of editions would’ve included a figurine of some kind as opposed to some pins. Dark souls 3 had an art book and a soul of cinder statue for the same price. Even if they replaced the pins with like a master sword letter opener I’d be happy.
I received my CE yesterday through amazon. In my opinion the 150 Euros was too much for the content. The artbook and the steel-thingies are nice but not worth the extra 90 Euros.... only Nintendo lodged it for 130 Euros - I wasn't able to get hold of one despite invitation. Will not participate at such circus in the future....
Pretty underwhelming Collector's Edition in my opinion. I never use things like pins, they just go back in the box and are never seen again. I'm sure the game itself will be great though!
@@finngamer isn’t everything made in China? Not sure made in china is ever a problem, most of the time they were good quality statues. Certainly more value for money than a picture printed on a bit of tin.
I just bought the spend $60 less and use it on a week's worth of groceries edition. No regrets after watching this video. Seems like it should come with an Amiibo.
Eh, I grew out of the statues 10 years ago, I much prefer an edition like this. Lots of quality items, but without any wasted airspace around a statue.
Thank you for actually going through the book. Most people just show the first page or two. I ondered this but it doesn't arrive until later next week. I'm trying to see if it is worth it before I open it. Othere wise I'll return it an get the standard edition.
