He broke two steel rods. That was a very good attempt. These weren't iron rods. They are steel. Most likely hardened high carbon steel, where they tend to break than bend. He broke two of the steel bars. These are great demonstrations of technique. However, a real fight happens quite differently. You don't get a steel bar that sits still for you to break it, in a real fight. Life's not that fair.

since it's physically impossible for the rod to break in any other place then point of impact, from my count he broke just 2 first rods rest just fell off the table or not even that..? Was the previous record 1 rod, or its just first attempt ever?...

This proves that the rods are not fake. Good attempt but risk of injury cannot be ruled out.

Maybe not fake, but very deceptive practice if people think these are normal steel rods, nothing close to that, extremely brittle.

what kind of rods are those? metal or not? there is no way that a metal rod will break that way except when you cut it with metal saw. Those are not metal?

May be cast iron rods, brittle not elastic. Always they have to select most brittle material like brick, glass, ice, dry wood etc. Never attempt with elastic material.

Taking advantage of people's ignorance of material science and the nature of various metals. Most sane and rational people do understand that it is indeed impossible to break a metal rod, due to the malable nature of most metals. This is a deception and cheat, because he is using rods that are far from malable, very brittle in nature. Just as pop metal breaks easily. So without some standard or knowledge of the nature of the material, this means nothing to any rational person.
