Bare knuckle boxing is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK and USA. No boxing gloves are used. Critics consider the sport violent and barbaric. In some states of the USA, bare knuckle boxing, now run by BKFC, is still illegal.
This documentary follows up-and-coming bare knuckle fighter Tyler Goodjohn from the UK. A very successful gloved boxer, he moved into bare knuckle boxing after being banned from gloved boxing by the British Board of Boxing Control.
So far, undefeated in bare knuckle fighting, this documentary follows Tyler Goodjohn’s attempt to win the World BKB Featherlight bare knuckle boxing championship against proven winner Sean George.
Tyler Goodjohn’s obsession and dedication are unparalleled. But the fall out for his family and girlfriend, the adult film performer Alessa Savage, are considerable.
