I'm proud of you mate..Lucky man to have a beautiful family too.. I'm a South West Wiltshire lad and went through all the mischief and just chilling out more now..Genuine lads like yourself give me hope. Me and two mates drove from Salisbury Wiltshire area with a dodgy hand drawn map down to the black mountains for a bit of shroom hunting . We slept in the car (in some farmers field behind the big hedgerows)and just before first light I shit you not 30 ft from the car we started finding those pretty little clumps of 10/15 shrooms. Forgot to take any bags whatsoever and apart from a crisp bag we were just filling our pockets..Ate a few while we were picking that gives you that super magic sight to see em everywhere..By the time we had finished and had every single pocket stuffed full. We went to drive back home to Salisbury but after about 100 yrds forgot how to drive, couldn't even roll a ciggy. Left the car (a beat up Saab automatic) outside a farmyard on the side of the road. Couldn't work out how to get home or hitch or anything.Walked all day and slept in a barn we found.. Hitched home next day because we couldn't remember where we left the car with the map in. Fucking pokey shrooms, them big Welsh fkrs.. excuse the rant but seeing those hills and valleys brought the memories back.. Wish you luck in life and especially your next fight.. I've looked like that photo of you a few times it's the problem when you have a great chin you take some punishment. I had to stop fighting as I'm a stroke survivor I'm weak as piss now. On one side. Still a friend has convinced me on training again, can't hurt.

BKB should allow the fighters to using min padding to protect their hands. I don't know how a BKB fighter can work a normal job after their hands are destroyed.

I recently learned that the gloves used in combat sports be it boxing to mma have a much higher chance of causing long term and delayed injury to the brain. Most would choose a cut eye over swelling on the brain and in short these are the kind of trade offs made when competing with or without gloves. Incorrectly gloves give a false sense of security , rightly so though for all brave enough to prizefight with or with out gloves with the grace and for the glory of God win loose or draw the fight is yours. Peace.
Some of that technique was horrendous. Back hands weren't even punches. It's a mugs game mate, if you don't know what you're doing then don't be in it. Got kids and this game doesn't look after your brain. Kids need an old man who has all marbles
