Gil laughing, but Shannon is serious as hell. my grandmother grew up in a small town in Arkansas with a dirt floor in the house (my best friend’s mother grew up the same way). when it’s bigger than you, certain things are worth the risk. Jarrett Allen made a business decision for him, just like the Celtics made a business decision with Isaiah Thomas when he played on a messed up hip after his sister passed in a car accident. a team can make a business decision for a guy that risked his long term career for a single season “for the good of the squad” but when Jarrett Allen makes a decision for himself, the insinuations fly. naw, let JA do what is best for his career - the Cavaliers will be in the NBA longer than JA will be….
Agree - my son had a knee injury wrestling & I told him the coach won't be thanking him years latter for hitting it out & playing hurt risking more long term injury - he's decent but not gonna get a scholarship - his grades might & wants to be a Dr & I told him I don't want him in pain do 60+ hours a week doing an internship plus a pt job when he's in his young 20s - it's like how these hs baseball coaches use the F outta a good pitcher - only so many throws can be allowed B4 the %s say u will get injured but these coaches will sacrifice a young pitchers arm/shoulder to make his w/l % look good
@@B.PiercesportsYeah bruh, when you’ve been around your good men long enough you know when they really like that one woman. I don’t pay attention to nothing they say out their mouths.
Gil’s point on drafting younger players makes a lot of sense. The conversation between these three has really improved since the beginning, ya love to see it
Look at Ocho face when Shannon and Gil talk about having a girl or girls as friends. Ocho. Just nods his head with know response. Ocho you all I’m with your relationship and family and content with settling down. Good for you. You hold your on bro in certain conversations 😊💪🏾
I think now that Gil is a regular during basketball streams I think its time to cut off him being deafen when Unc and Ocho talk over him. It's kinda annoying and limiting him. Im sure others agree with me.
I thought they fixed that but he’s still cutting out when they begin to speak while he’s still talking. It’s likely a setting on his microphone that needs changing.
He admitted last month to studying more about the sport...he started this podcast not participating much on basketball stuff, but once Gil started, I think it heightened his willingness to not be left out of these conversations. He's doing sooooooo much better on his takes..agreed 🎉🎉🎉
@@koiyadanielleGil more patient than unc is plus Gil give more easier insight when they discuss the game because he played. Gil & ocho is real similar in a lot of ways 😂
some guys after one year of college didn't do enough to get drafted, so it might make sense in some situations to stay in college at least another year to develop your skillset and up your draft stock. It is a balancing act though - another year experience comes with another year of age.
See my favorite shooters all time Robert horry, Glen Rice, Steve Smith, Michael Finley, Allan Huston like the younger generation don't know those players
Unc im witchu on that Tom Brady Roast 100% ish was embarrassing as hell. I got second hand embarrassment the whole way thru and i was watchin from home😂
No disrespect. But 3pt shooting isn't the only form of shooting. They need to go watch tape on Price. He basically was Steve Nash who was almost 50/40/90 for his career and was one of the 1st PGs to split the pick and roll.
I am sure Bronny will do well and be a good player but the way Arenas speaks about Bronny is good right now and says Jokic isn’t mvp. This says you don’t wanna listen to Gilber Arenas voice about basketball
Shannon is ignorant. He just said a few shows ago, no tattoos I'm scared of needles. Then he compares weed to needles. Like comparing apples to tomatoes.
