@tengille I 100% agree. It's just a terrible system to run a business that way. I'm not saying Cousins & his agent shouldn't be out there trying to get that type of money. For me it's just how the media is making it seem like this is the smart decision or that Atl won't still be struggling. I've heard some of these guys on tv talking about they can be real contenders because on Cousins. Anyone that's watched football knows that isn't true. I hate that they come up with these horrible narratives just to act as if they never said anything later.

Kirk is another Matt Ryan. They both can throw for 400 yards and lose by 3 touchdowns. They are ineffective in the first half of games, but with throw for 400 garbage yards against the prevent defense in the 4th quarter. They are just good enough to win you 6 or 7 games to drop your team draft selection down to picking the 10th best prospect in the NFL draft.

Ocho I think you really missed what Cam was saying why in the heck kirk gets $180 million and these quarterback hurt teams don't even take a chance bringing Cam in and letting him compete Cam has more playoff wins and made it to a super superbowl and kirk has made it to one NFC championship game let alone win one he got the money and opportunity because Arthur blank didn't want a black quarterback every since Michael Vick I think Cam could clearly beat Kirk out for the job if he was given the opportunity

180 is basically the going rate for starting QBs now a days. Plus only 100 is guaranteed. It's basically a two year/100 mill contract. They over paid a little bit but Kirk was getting 45 a year regardless
