It’s true they have to get to work, get the kids up on time for school, pick the kids up, and entertain their kids. Like he said it will be food at home. I get what he’s saying. My son mom had two more children in her marriage after my son. I would always make sure they all got something to eat if I was dropping McDonald's off or something else. No I wasn't my responsibility but we are the best of friends till this day. My is now 28 and my 2 nephew are 24 and 22. I guess it all depends on the situation. It takes a village to raise children

A lot of these young men today don't have the the right up bringing. No child deserves to be treated different In a situation like that. He is absolutely right. He is not obligated to do anything. It's a blessing if is kind enough to offer, but don't force a man to take accountability for your other responsibilities when he didn't partner with you to create them. Praise him for taking care of his and he might just consider being nice to the other ones.
