I think that this is a first. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and Zyurangers meeting and talking with each other. Karen Ashley really stepped up her game with this interview. Great job! I'm glad that I watched some up zyuranger way before this interview.

12:11 This is my favourite part. I know Karan and Austin got to meet Yūta Mochizuki (red ranger), Takumi Hashimoto (yellow ranger) and Reiko Chiba (pink ranger) I'd love to see the rest of the mmpr cast meet the zyurangers. Imagine how awesome that would be.

I think Aohisa just made the coolest morphin call ever. Seriously, that guy has a damn cool voice! A real shame there was never a Gokaiger episode devoted to these guys.

It is so nice to see MMPR and their OGs together! If all of MMPR and Zyu can be together in one place soon, it would be EPIC!

I don't know who else wants this to happen but I'd like to see the entire Mighty Morphin cast interview the entire Zyuranger cast, It'd be so epic to see both entire casts get together

It's truly amazing how differently people hold and present themselves from around the world. Like you look at Reiko Chiba, Takumi Hashimoto, and Aohisa Takayasu and they hold themselves up. hands on lap, sit straight and truly focus on the conversation. It's strange as an American looking at this. It through me off truly for a bit. However they are all so amazing.

Loved every second of this episode. You got ASJ, Ms. Ashley and the Zyurangers together for the first time. I just loved it. Seeing them interact with one another added another layer how much they are beloved by us, the fans :D. And, I can't believe Reiko look exactly the same as she was over 20 years ago! She got that Walter Emanuel Jones age defying syndrome lol. One more thing, ASJ needs to host more. He was awesome! Stay blessed :).

If Gokaiger casts will have a plan of going to Con in America someday, Kei Hosogai (Basco) can lead them as he can speak both English and Japanese fluently.

seeing their reaction to the sneakers make me happy,because they lived pretty much a simple life after their show ended and they probably didnt go to any kind of convention in Japan,so received these gifts for their contribution to Zyurangers must be a first for them.

Their's a word in Japanese "okama" that can mean both homosexual and transgender. I think Reiko meant to call Takumi a "transgender" meaning he transforms into to women (American version) from a man (Japanese version). I don't think she meant anything derogatory from it.

I was only 4 years old when MMPR came on tv originally and loved it ever since. Just recently started watching Zyuranger and its great. Very cool to see the cast of MMPR meeting the Zyurangers.

This was a treat and after the limitations of Saban enterprise, VHS and limited access. Zyurangers is now accessible and 3-4 of 6 appeared in the U.S. It is fantastic to know the three, Seijuu Umon- who is now has a new name. His English is up there and it is great that he could hold his own in the interview! He went through a lot before he nailed the role which made him a star. "Mammoth Ranger, Goshi"! That was fantastic! Reiko Chiba- still beautiful as always, very bubbly and sexy of course. She knows almost enough English but not as advance as Seiju. She was very naughty saying "Takumi is a Homo" then soften it up calling him Gay. Takumi Hashimoto- not much of a English speaker but he looked like he never aged. It is a pleasure to have him onboard as well. Now they are attempting to persuade Tricera Ranger Dan( Hideki Fujisawa) to find time on his demanding job to attend the convention. And Dragon ranger Burai (Shiro Izumi), to return from the limelight and he is considering too!

Seiju Umon/Aohisa Takayasu just seems like the coolest guy. In both Zyuranger and MMPR, Mammoth Ranger/Black Ranger is my favorite.

I was grinning ear to ear... and then the translator really dropped the ball here. There's a lot that's being lost here, but it's still so fun to see these folks get together, and they're clearly having so much fun anwyas. Maybe it's just that he's another yellow ranger, but I really warmed up to Hashimoto-san a lot here. I always get kinda bummed out when I see these kinds of interviews and panels because just now as all these actors are getting out there and doing cons and everyone gets to meet their heroes from childhood, MY favorite ranger is the ONE ranger who's not here anymore. But seeing Aisha and Boi stumble their way over a language barrier and having such a great time doing it is... pretty special. You two meant so much to me when I was little.

Was a bit of a trip seeing the Japanese cast with two of the US actors. Would have been cool to see them should 'Dino Buckler!' as well.

Fast forward to 2022 and I don't think he sits amongst greatness anymore

Austin is starting to look more like his old self all he has to do is shave the beard and he basically the old jason we know of but im glad to see hes doing well

I know a few words in Japanese and only understood one word out of their talk.....Mina which means everyone. I'm going to have to watch Super Sentai Zyurangers now, and can't wait. :)

I do not speak Japanese, but several times in the video I understood what they were saying before it was translated, and in a couple of instances I got more of an answer out of that than from what the translator was saying. I could be wrong, but I don't think he covered their full responses. Especially on the question where they were asked if they were friends on the set. All the translator said was that there was an age difference between the actors, but I heard Reiko explain who was friends with who. Maybe I got it wrong, but I don't think I did.

love the show you two. i always enjoy seeing this sort of fun spirited and as you put it 'uncensored' interview. clearly you have a blast while doing this, but one question Karen, and also for austin. "what one person would you want to get on this show more than any other?

Reiko looks and acts and sounds like a 14 year old girl haha she is super kawaii! That's what I love about Japanese women. They still retain their youthful looks and act like they are still in their teens even when they in their mid 40's.

After having seen the 30th Anniversary Special and then going back to watching this particular segment I just realized that both the Japanese versions of the pink and yellow ranger were the same age as the new yellow ranger is now. All three were 16 when they shot their individual projects just 30 to 31 years apart, and to me that's just crazy to think about that all three Rangers were the exact same age when they put on the suit.
