Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection 

Uncharted is one of those franchises I will replay every year. The video game equivalent of a TV series you can watch repeatedly and come back to, like Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones. A masterpiece.

Uncharted is just the gold standard for what fun, adventure and action sometimes there’s some games that get too gritty and somber and that nice but makes me miss that fun funny vibe can be

I wish they could somehow remaster Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. That's probably the greatest action game I've ever played.

I am excited for this to hit steam this year

Uncharted 2 was one of the first video games I ever played. I bought a PS3 for the blu-ray and figured, "hey, may as well get a game. Might be fun." I ended up playing U2 at least 15 times. Just a joy. The Chloe v. Elena tension was just so great. Seductress v. girl next door. Classic trope, but perfectly executed.

You seem to be having constant audio issues in your latest videos..cuts where they shouldn't be, volume raising or lowering too soon or too late.. Just thought I'd point it out as some constructive criticism ACG! Thanks for the review mate 👍

So pumped for this on PC since I never done Lost Legacy. Glad it's available on PS5 at 60/120 ! Hopefully the Classic Trilogy can come too !

Uncharted 4 is on my top 5 favorite games of all time. Just truly done right.

Man, this game was a technical marvel when it originally came out. That it still impresses to this day is a testament to the talent of Naughty Dog's art and tech teams squeezing every drop out of the PS4 hardware. I can't wait to see what they do with their first 100% PS5 era title.

Sony, please just let us play Golden Abyss on a console 😭

these games are stunning to this day there are few if any that can match this level of polish and beauty.

Best 10$ spent so far in 2022 hands down. So glad I waited for a replay; cant wait until tomorrow/this weekend.

This is titled as a review of the PS5 upgrade. But actually it sounds more like another review of the original games on the PS4. Little is said of the PS5 upgrade. I don t see much difference in the graphics. The performance might be better, but all in all, these are still games we ve played.

I played it I'm previous summer on ps4pro and it was like I was playing a new game. You don't need a high pc to play Uncharted 4.

I remember seeing real-time footprints in the sand and being blown away at the time

After playing red dead on pc at 4K 60 glad you really appreciate subtle animations in game. I do think it’s very overlooked in gaming but the attention to detail is what grounds me to the world

I just got this during the Steam Summer Sale. 30 bucks what a steal! Kind of sad but the best PC ports I've gotten in the last couple years are all Sony games. Uncharted, Spider-man, God of war, Spider-man Miles Morales all are fantastic ports!

I guess this one was easy to upgrade and put on the PS5 compared to other Uncharteds. They’re trying to maximize the sales of U4. Personally I think Uncharted 2 fully remastered like this would’ve been awesome, but I understand why they did what they did.

Lots of people saying this game update is a rip off, but if you never played it to me I see it’s not a rip off, beside if you love the game and want it one single bundle, wait for the PlayStation Spartacus they might add it to the list!

If you haven't played these yet why not? You won't find a better story driven game. The gameplay is great,the creativity is fun.

Naughty dogs Uncharted series are very good for me , I love playing these games , the cinematic scenes that they present you with are jaw dropping at times , the scenery and the character animations are so good. Great review , keep up the awesome content

I put on the PS4 version of this game on my Ps5 this morning and there’s barely a noticeable difference between the versions. Developers are fucking lazy and people are idiots for buying games from 2016 like it’s something new.

@ACG: You get both games for the upgrade price. I had my Uncharted 4 digitaly (not the PS+ version) and a disc copy of Lost Legacy. I upgraded the Lost Legacy disc to ps5, got both games! If you never played these games or just one of them, the upgrade price if worth it! :)

This is also coming to PC and i cannot WAIT...just had a blast for two weeks with God of war and have not played uncharted since PS3....this is a good time to be a gamer :)

The Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection is top tier quality in terms of the games themselves. I won't deny that. However, I'm not a fan of charging full price for a PS5 upgrade that consists of only 2 games, Uncharted 4 A Thief's End and Uncharted the Lost Legacy. Perhaps, I would've justified the full price tag if the first 3 entries in the Uncharted series were included as well, which isn't the case unfortunately. They are true remasters, but the asking price is still too much. The games were stunning when they originally came out and they still look stunning visually with the remastered collection. The characters, story, setting, atmosphere, voice acting and combat are still top notch as well. The level of polish is definitely high. It looks like Sony exclusives, as well as Microsoft exclusives, are a thing of the past with so many titles having either, already come out for PC or they are going to come out for PC later down the road. God of War (2018), Detroit Become Human, Journey, Death Stranding, Nioh 2, Days Gone, Beyond Two Souls, Heavy Rain, Horizon Zero Dawn and now Uncharted 4 A Thief's End and Uncharted the Lost Legacy are playable on PC. I wouldn't be surprised if the list gets even bigger moving forward. The gaming landscape isn't what it used to be years ago. You don't really have console exclusives anymore, aside from Nintendo. I wouldn't be surprised if Horizon Forbidden West and Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart end up coming out for PC in about 4-5 years. The PS4 and Xbox One saw a bunch of remasters. Even though the PS5 and Xbox Series X are relatively brand new consoles, they've already been getting remasters and upgrades for older titles. Having said that, thanks as always Karak for another great video review. I really appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!

I wonder if games have reached their peak as far as graphics. I mean how much better can they get in future generations

This isn't bad for $10. It's a little annoying for anyone that bought Uncharted 4 on disk as you have to have the disk in your PS5 to get and play the $10 upgrade option, but since I never bought Lost Legacy, this seems like a good deal for whenever I want to play them. I will be busy for a while playing other games pretty soon so I'll wait.

In the attic at the start of uncharted 4 you can pick up a file where chloe has sent nate a letter saying I have a gig that you could join in on or something like that never would I have thought that she would get her own game but there both awesome and I think there definitely up there with the greatest action adventures out there

This upgrade is pretty weird. I had The lost legacy digital and i got both for 10$ just like ACG said. I thought i would just end up with an upgrade that i can't even use, but it's downloading uncharted 4 right now.

Last of us 2 stepped up the animations so much, a game as amazing as uncharted 4 seems off now.

Just got it for the $10 upgrade option. Will probably re-download Nathan Drake Collection to re-experience everything again since it's been a long time ago.

And it has no multiplayer! So feel free to get that platinum without the b.s. trophies.

I have a series X and PS5 and this game is worth it if you don't own it or have it via the collection on PS Plus but it should have been a free patch. Microsoft have done a much better job than Sony at backwards compatible games and upgrades that are free for them

This should be a free update for the players who bought playstation 5. That is why we bought the PS5 for the frame rates. Xbox gives it away for free for all the updates boost enhancements

As a first time played on ps5 would you recommend the performance or the 120 fps mode

Uncharted 4 was the first uncharted I actually played through, years later I played through the nathan drake collection (still haven't finished 3 though, gotta get on that). 3 and lost legacy are the 2 I haven't finished.

Huge fan of the uncharted series and I can’t wait to play this once I get a PS5. Little disappointed it’s not 4K 60 fps but 1440p at 60fps is still great!

Legacy of Thieves is such a fitting name for Sony PlayStation in general

Here is my two cents. I played this games on base PS4 if I want to play them again I can do so. I would not pay again for the changes in this remaster slight visual and LOD improvements, ds5 features, and removal of multiplayer. I also think that reviewing it is a bit pointless. The games from gameplay story are the same so previous review scores are valid. The only thing to say it if you never played you get this and that and for the rest watch the previous review, if you played it here is what’s new. But it is up to you do decide if you want to pay for this changes. A different thing would be PC review as this is a first time these games are released on PC. It does not change my score for the games which is very good.

Honestly? I want an option to download HD assets instead of 4K, play games at HD with raytracing at a smoother framerate.

This is awesome news. I've been meaning to play this series forever now. They just seem like a fun, action adventure roller coaster that I've been putting off for years. I'll still be putting this off though with all the games that are coming out this month 😅 But I'll get it eventually and thanks to your trusted input.

I was waiting for lost legacy to go on sale. But decided to wait for PS5 upgrade as Sony upgrade rules are messed up. I could have bought lost legacy for £8 then have to spend £10 to get an upgrade. Luckily I kept my Uncharted 4 disc when I got it for free on PS+ so I only had to pay 10. Nioh is another example of you bought Nioh 2 you get a free upgrade to Nioh 2. If you bought Nioh you have to by the remastered collection to get an upgrade for Nioh 1 & 2. You can’t even purchase a £10 upgrade you have to buy the remaster complete edition for £50 even if you own all the Nioh DLC. Even luckier my backlog is longer than my Arm so I can wait till the price drops considerably. I’m still half way through Nioh lol.

Never played them the but the , combat does look cool , environment looks a bit dated now but not massively

Currently replaying the Naughty Dog Games; finishing Uncharted 3. These games are exceptional. But I can’t help but perceive this as an egregious, lucrative-guaranteed release. Great for PC players, and novice PlayStation owners. But easy money for Sony, if people rebuy games they already have. Remasters are becoming less justifiable this generation.

Yeah 10Pound or dollars with which ever game you have. Ps I have a 4k TV but can't get performance plus for 120fps? Anyone know why

If I pay $10 for the upgrade. Will I still get my multiplayer? Is the multiplayer only 30 fps still? Haven't seen any info about this. I know they're absolute amazing games but I finished both and I really enjoy the mp with friends and it's underrated asf.

If you own at least ONE of the original PS4 titles (don't bother to buy it now as it wouldn't count), the PS5 Upgrade for 10 bucks (if you're a lucky PS5 owner) is a total no brainer. Calling it remaster is a bit far fetched though (in contrast to the Spider-Man PS5 Remaster), besides the higher FPS, the 60 FPS mode has the same resolution as the PS4 pro version (1440p) but a slightly increased LOD (mildly increasing details of far away objects and reducing pop-ups). Still, (re-)playing the game in 60 FPS is an absolute blast. If you don't have the option to upgrade and have to pay the full price, the PC version later this year might be the better choice (let's hope for a perfect port as with God of War before).

This doesn’t include multiplayer? So we’re always gonna be stuck at 900p60fps for pvp and 1080p30fps for survival mode? That’s so lazy honestly. I want to experience the survival mode in 60fps. I mean ghost of tsushima for ps5 enhanced the graphics in multiplayer for ps5, now running at a glorious checkerboard 4k60fps and it looks beautiful.
