Some very brave and smart people exploring areas our planet we would not have been or seen before or at the least it has been a very long time since anyone laid eyes on these areas! Fascinating to see the expertise that goes into one of these dives and and to have someone filming it for all too see! Thanks guys!

“This is what I do, I don’t worry about it I don’t think about it.” It’s like this guy is trolling, this is EXACTLY what people say before they get too comfortable doing something dangerous & it bites them in the a$$. He’s got to be trolling.

Excellent documentary but the video is a bit dodgy. Every few minutes there will be an annoying pause and a few seconds later it will restart. You don't loose too much content in the pause but it can be a bit frustrating. The doc is still of very good quality and educational content.

when I was a kid we would head up to Ocala and Silver Spring from South Fla. We new a really cool heart shaped spring . we just go to chill and swim and have a blast. nothing even close to this . I no how dangerous Eagles Nest and the others are

I wonder which system this is? I have dove many of the "tourist caves" in FL, Peacock Springs, Ginnie Springs, Little River, Cow Springs, Madison Blue Springs. Almost looks like some of the pictures I've seen of the Diedpolder system.

seems like most of the action in this is in the Tallahassee area.

@@FoundInTheRiverAndCaves yes, that would make sense Wakulla is near/ in the same region as the Diepolder system. A bit more advanced than I can do. Thanks.

An amazing journey. If anyone ever wanted to know the definition of a man tell them to look up George Irvine. I hope this research also helps prevent predator corporations like Nesle from taking our water.

Florida springs are being devasted by cattle farmers and Agriculture(sugar) for one. A Canadian businessman has bought FL land and is requesting to take 15 million gallons of spring water for his farm which will KILL our springs. I mean devastate them. It is disgusting if it gets approved. I saw one man fighting against this. It's good to see this team doing this even if it is a side note. In ten years we might loose everything.

15 million gallons in a day or year? It would be really interesting to know how fast the aquifer recharges in your area.

@@jasonfoster9118 I don't remember but I want to say a day for some reason. I will try to locate the lone man fighting this, and that info is on his site. It might take me a bit to locate. But when I find the info I will post it.

This is as far as the amateur Divers will be allowed to go??? It’s only 290 feet deep you mean it’s past amateur/recreational diving limits!? We went to 648‘ on my first open water dive
@James0u812

@pieterveenders9793
@pieterveenders9793 4 года назад
18 meters is the limit for an open water dive, or between 30 and 40 meters if you're an advanced diver. But definitely not 215 meters like you're claiming, that's utter bullshit. Hell the number of people who've dived that deep on anything other than saturation diving are less than 2 dozen.
