@Susana Lemos Youngblood is just slang for a younger person..usually a teen or young adult. When he says "don't reach, youngblood" he's tellin the defender not to try to steal the ball. Because if he tried to...he'd fail since uncle drews handles are too good
@@LionBoy3712it was invented in Rucker Park , that phrase when Dr. j pearl Monroe and others played in early 70s. Erving once said that some dude was incredible on ball defendef but he just palmed like Connie Hawkins with 2 finger and say dont reach youngster then reverse dunk on him like nothing. Erving say many players then liked to reoeat those in mixing with other words too.
Lmaooo I remember finding uncle drew when I was in like high school and showing all my friends. The next day we went to go play some ball and kept calling each other young bloods. The good times.
How about all those high flying dunks off one leg? Kyrie Irving can barely even dunk off two feet there’s even a video of Russell Westbrook trying to teach Kyrie how to dunk off one foot at the 2018 all star game 😂😂😂
Most of the people watch the video and do not think about the cameraman and the rest of the crew because the editing keeps them hooked to the screen. The human brain needs entertainment and loses rationality in front of a valid storytelling structure.
I know 😂 I was dying because Kyries game embodies the flashiness he’s railing about. Only difference is, he’s the best and most efficient to do it. He makes all those early 2000s ballers like AI look like G Leaguers
“What these youngbloods need to understand that this game has always been, and will always be, about buckets” - Bill Russell Rest In Peace to the legend himself
Very entertaining. ..I honestly enjoyed the Uncle Drew series from the entire staff camera crew from all angles has made this series perfection the actors outstanding.. Can't even lie back than five years ago I would have thought this was real until now. An amazing job to everyone Kyrie Irving and Ray Allen and the rest of the NBA players done a terrific job. Again outstanding I love it. ..oh one last thing get bucket's 🏀😉
When I want to genuinely compliment someone while hooping - the highest possible compliment I can give them is “you’re a real baller”. RIP Bill Russell
Drew great shooting job well done. I love the way you shoot the basketball that's awesome do me a favor make some more videos of you shooting basketball I enjoy that
I tell you what when they did the movie that was good Uncle Drew and it's crazy I was just watching it earlier before I saw this old Commercial Series come cross my phone on RU-vid
The players didn't know what was going on... Obviously they knew there was a TV crew filming for the Pepsi event thing, but they weren't told everything. So it's like half staged. Obviously at a certain point it's obvious that he's not an old man, but it's still lit
@Jay I forgot where I saw the behind the scenes... but basically, they just thought it was a streetball reality show type thing where they needed a few clips. So that way they got everyones permission to be on film, it was still pretty authentic cuz at a certain point you're just hooping and ignoring a couple dudes with cameras, so their initial reactions were probably genuine. Of course by the time Kyrie was dunking on them they woulda realized that something was up, but at that point it's still fun and you're gonna keep playing. As for the crowd, I'm pretty sure they got some random people to see if they wanted to be featured as extras in a Pepsi commercial shoot type thing and of course handed out free Pepsi's

Back when me and my brothers played in the street on our hoop we would watch Uncle Drew part 2 to get hyped up and we would go 3 on 3 against everyone in the neighborhood no matter how good they were. Miss those times..
This series is better than the movie, itself....The Pepsi Max series in my opinion is more organic, natural and realistic....lol I wished that Movie captured the realness yet with that comedy and wit Uncle Drew garnered on this Pepsi Max Collection....To me, this was the movie...The Movie looked forced but this was and looked natural, thank You for putting the entire series together, I’m going to watch it for time to time...Wish we could get a Volume(Drew) II, with his 6th Man and The ‘Others....👍🏾
“You have to master the fundamentals so you can forget em” That’s some real philosophy right there. Become so Greta at your craft that fundamentals are natural
@@kevinc721 understand the basic and most simple parts of something. Even if you feel like it’s unnecessary. Because once you master those you’re at the apex of it.
@@ekrous427 nahhh that's not what I got out of it tbh...... I think he means master the fundamentals so you can forget em as once mastered it will be like second nature and you won't think of em then you take your game to the next level as you can start trying unorthodox/unconventional things as your basics are solid. I think
