Uncle Lee thank you so much for your videos, my husband and I love your videos. You may consider organising a tour for your fans. -Ng family from Kulai.
Hi Regina, heard from my friend Elizabeth that you visited her dim sum shop (Zhen Hi Hao) in Ipoh today. Hope that you have enjoyed dining there. 🤤 As for going on tours with fans, not really ready for that as there have been many scams with such tour operators / organizers. These unscrupulous tour operators/organizers (may not even be legitimate) use the popularity of some RU-vidrs to sell package tours with the promise that the RU-vidrs will be going on the same tours. But in reality, the RU-vidrs know nothing about these tours and these people collected money and disappeared! And many were left stranded 😢at the airport still thinking that they are going on a trip! So I am not going to let that happen so that my fans are not scammed. If we are destined to meet, then I will be happy to be on the same trip. 👍🙏 Take care and stay safe 🥰
@@UncleLeeAdventures Yes! Definitely wish we can meet if we can cross paths. Thank you Uncle Lee and Si Tao Po h (May Jie) please send my regards to Ah Ling and Ah Fatt. We are leaving Ipoh now and going to Seremban to visit those stores you recommended. Its a pity that we have no time to go back to Zhen Hi Hao again. But promise will go each time I’m in Ipoh. Meanwhile take care and GOD bless 😇😄 keep up with your videos
Hi uncle lee !! We went to the places you recorded ! Ka be cafe , and also the goreng pisang !my aunt says worlds best goreng pisang ! Look forward to more of your videos ! Michelle singapore ! Thank you !
The goreng pisang is in another video.. glad that you found it… it really is the best goreng pisang in the world! Tried to “tau si” but have been unsuccessful 😂 Thanks for watching 🙏
Penang hawker food are now more expensive. KL version is bigger in portion and in certain cases just as good or better. We try the Pun Heong "Wat Tan Sang Har" really good. Its in Batu Caves.
@@UncleLeeAdventures how about tiger kwe teow? recommended? as the grab driver also recommend me , they say dragonn a nd tiger kwe teow very recomemded
The next time you are in Penang, you should try the char koay teow opposite Ah Leng CKT, it’s the corner Coffeeshop 328 King prawns CKT...i am a penangite and prefer this stall 328 char koay teow. The Lam Mee and hokkien are good as well. The Lam Mee is second generation, it’s been in operation for more than 30years.
@@UncleLeeAdventures In the last 6 months I had already made 2 trips to Penang and yet still unable all the nice food, the list of food to eat is simply too long. Probably need 1 month stay to complete it.
@@UncleLeeAdventures grab alao increase price liao fr om ah leng to marina bay in gurney cost 21 rm , and fr om marima bay to island hospital cost 15, usually only 10 the most
@@UncleLeeAdventures Not as good as a long time ago. Toast bread at night was very famous and always looked forward to the tasty kangkong sotong but already gone long time ago.
This reminded me so so much of my many years of travelling into Hatyai with my late mum and brother; my mum was Songkla born and my bro was an inbound tour agent for corporates. What is the contact details of the travel company and do they do pickups in Ipoh?
The tour guide is Calvin Lai. His contact detail is at the end of the video.. (WhatsApp him is better than calling as he may not be able to pick up your call) not sure if they do pickup in Ipoh or not.. you can ask… since they are heading Northbound, they may be able to do pickup at their schedule pit stops (you need to ask). Thank you for watching 🙏
was in Penang on 14/6/22 to 20/6/22 ....my 2nd trip after may 13th for 5 days there ....passby this area too ... enjoy the food but still prefer my sarawak laksa ..😊...over assam laksa ....
we were there about 1:30pm. probably in the middle of the lunch crowd. According to Google (yeah, Google knows everything 😄), they open from 7am to 5pm and closed on Wednesdays. Do enjoy and thanks for watching.
I think it is not one of the most expensive....it is definitely the MOST expensive. But I guess it's all demand and supply.....when she can charge so expensive for CKT and there is a wait of at least 30 minutes and people willing to pay for it, then she has a market for it. This is a case of customers waiting for their food instead of seller waiting for customers.
BB Cafe (near Sunshine Square) the asam laksa is good. If in Bukit Jambul area, they have a relative or uncle selling similar asam laksa as well at Qi Yen Kopitiam (corner kopitiam near Bukit Jambul Kompleks). Taste equally good and nearer to me so is my favorite stall. Always ask for extra soup and extra prawn paste. Uncle will gladly give more soup as regular customer, he knows I always finish the delicious bowl till the last drop, no wastage Sedap!
I always believe in free market economy.. if they can price at whatever they are charging and still customers are flocking there, then that’s the market price. If they begin to increase prices to a point that they don’t have customers, then that’s overpriced. On the other hand, if they are busy every minute of the day and even have customers queuing up like crazy, then that’s underpriced and customers see that as excellent value. Just my 2 cents.
I like ur recommendation but can u stop the background screaming of the expression of "very good taste". It sounds like an angry ghost screaming..very disturbing &, annoying.!!😢
The screaming voice is that of Ng Man Tat. He passed away in 2021. I grew up watching his movies with Stephen Chow. Miss his comedies and it’s a way for me to remember him and still feel his presence. Sorry that you find it disturbing.
