This story is in the beginning of Carl Barks era of most brilliant pieces. I can just wonder if someday in the future there will be a way of animating these into an animation film, but preserving the timing, the action, and the complexity of the characters. It was done in a very basic aspect with DuckTales, but mostly on the childish side. Maybe some sort of A.I....
@@Sattlen I remember Carl Barks saying how in comics you can go from Point A to Point B without all the in-between stuff in animation. Bill Watterson said something similar, and that that was one of the reasons he chose not to adapt Calvin and Hobbes for animation.
This is wonderful. Just like reading the comic book with a new flair and great music to go along with it ! This was one of my favorites when I was ten years old. I'm almost sixty now and I still love it !! Thank you for doing this video !!

My first ever comic was the midas touch. Ten-cent valentine was the second. Then I read the return to the clodike. You're lucky to have all those comics
6:12 Yikes looks like Donald`s and Louie`s feet as well as Dewey`s beak didn't take the rocky terrain too well. XD Didn't expect old Disney comics to be this graphic! XD
Thank you for sharing these Crazy Ducks Adventures from your comic books!! Donald and his nephews BLINDLY follow Uncle Scrooge for ADVENTURE and those 25 cents, per hour!! HAHAHAHAHA!!
@@harounbraik868 Several pages are missing here that were censored by the censors in the 1950s as "too violent": The scenes in which the young Uncle Scrooge fights in the saloon and then kidnaps Goldie to his claim. You can read the uncensored version here: issuu.com/ricroland/docs/back_to_the_klondike_full_version
The music is from various British or American orchestras from 1920's, and from other various instrumental music, mostly found on RU-vid, such as from this clip for example ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sUrEJwk6Mdc.html
Thank you so much for replying. P.s. My all time favorite Donald Duck comic is “Land Beneath the Ground” with the Terries and the Fermies. You’ve rekindled my reading of these great classics.
