I hope you know this singular video can go a long way in influencing a young innocent undergraduate to accept the path of confraternity and thereby create cascading anti-social vices. I shake my head in disbelief.
They eulogize him and come out openly to associate as Pyrates because Soyinka is a Nobel literature laureate and cultural icon. Would these men come out to praise a Pyrate that is an armed robber or a Pyrate that ended up as a taxi driver somewhere?

I used to affirm to anyone that cared to listen that Arise News is the best in the country, but I have to say, in all my years of watching Arise, I have never been so disappointed in them as at now. What kind of rubbish is this? There are some things a responsible organisation shouldn't be involved in, no matter the money involved. We can celebrate Wole Soyinka (who in my opinion is an icon in every regard), not in this manner. @rufai, @abati, @ayo and the rest of Arise crew, are you still there, or my eyes are paining me. Whenever our young students go on killing spree while on their cultism mission and rivalry, I will always remember this video. Influencers in the mud. SMH.
