I've been there when it was sill fully operational, my brother used to work there he was also the chairman of a trade union branch there (that place was so big the trade union he was a member of had it's own branch there that he was later voted in as chairman).

I used to love Urbex! 2 mates and myself got into a HUGE derelict jet aircraft test centre and unknown to us they had DOGS. So these things were on us all night. We managed to make a break near dawn and virtually FLEW over a 6 foot wire fence. We all got over but the guy at the back JUST got his boot bitten by one of these HUGE lunatic dogs. We were lucky 2 of our buddies went in before we knew they were going so we couldnt warn them - both of them got attacked and badly bitten they ended up in hospital one was critical. The dogs were UNATTENDED basically left to roam at night on their own! When the Police found out THE SECURITY COMPANY got prosecuted NOT the guys who went in for a look. The dog handlers were supposed to be ON SITE at all times - they got charged with endangerment and ABH.
