Detective Wags going from aspiring rookie to hardened, drunk detective is a sight to see 😂 The character development!

He left no window un-trashcanned, no tavern un-thrown-out-of, the mean streets breathing a sigh of relief once he'd passed out on a wet pile of cardboard. Another day, another body, another bottle of rooftop bourbon.

Reminds me of a case I'm working on. A shooting in the victims apartment, she was done in with a rifle. The only clues I have is an out of place shoeprint that doesn't match the victim or their spouse and a vmail on the victim's cruncher from a co-worker they had matched with on Dove and that the co-worker doesn't want that fact to be known. I looked through the security footage of the building. Unfortunateley the cameras stopped five floors below the victims, but I noted down the appearance of every person that came and went around the time of the killing. After searching the co-worker's apartment I found that her shoesize matched, that she had been in the victim's building around the time of the shooting, and that she was an avid shooter, with a pistol and plenty of ammunition. No rifle, but I figured I had the killer pegged. I confronted the suspect, cuffed her, and figured that I'd be able to sit back and relax in the local bar that evening. I turned in the case only to find out that City Hall disagreed with me. I'm still on the killer's trail, but my best lead turned out to be a dud. It's only a matter of time before they strike again . . .

This is the content I love. The witty commentary, the silly, and somehow still serious gameplay. It's perfect. Name suggestion for next city, "Light's End." Keep up the good work, man!

Good case, I like it when they're not quite straightforward. I had one where there was a single common person called "Yuma" that the two first victims knew, but he wasn't the murderer. In that case I found with the third murder that it was someone in the same company as him within the same social circles, but never getting close enough to anyone to get on their address book. Purely through coincidence it almost looked like she was trying to frame her coworker, basically not aiming for people within the company but people her coworker Yuma knew. If the corpos ever bothered investigating anything, the starch cola enforcers would've just slapped the cuffs on Yuma and called it a day.

I don't really like that often the only way to solve a case is to cross-reference address books, and in case of a single victim, printing citizen files for fingerprints.

Pro tip: you can find tons of hair pins at the laundromat on top of the washing machines

at the start of the game a murder happens, the reason why it takes longer for it to pop up is because the body hasn’t been found and reported yet. Hope this helps:)

PLEASE!!! make these longer!! im begging you i would love to watch a 30-40 minute video of this but its understandable if you dont i know that i sure as hell wouldnt have the energy to make a 30 minute video as well edited as this but even so i would like it if you at least made one video of this thats 30 minutes long

I think, with the mods you have on, any city seeds people hand in may not be the same for you as it was them, but I didn't know that if you didn't solve a murder, the next murderer would be the same person, that would've helped a lot in my playthrough

lmao when I got this case it turned out to be a cop that was doing it. Right after I busted her at her management office my *next case* was to arrest the janitor that worked for her too, so now this 9 floor apartment building just has nobody in the control room lol

HAHAHAH I had no idea the pool balls actually could move around or that you could end up in the paper. The random details mixed with glaring bugs and malfunctioning features of the game just make it so great

why does the lack of crime drive you nuts? i have a game once go like 3 days no murders* then i got like 2 corpes droping in about 5 min of one another and thus overwelm my still learning brain im now able to handle this, but i also got an appartment to pay bills on...
