If you would like to buy us a bacon butty 😊 www.buymeacoff... Join us on our visit to Pentewan Sands Holiday Park, in the beautiful county of Cornwall, as we journey in our fifth wheel Rockwood 2622RK.
Thank you for this great video, I have just booked onto a caravan club rally there and hubby was concerned about the roads to get there with our twin axle caravan however seeing the size of your rig I know we will have no problem 😂. Looks to be a nice flat site and easy access to the beach and great facilities, looking forward to the holiday now, thank you.
Hi guys We’re really pleased that our video helped settle your concerns about the site. You should have no issues, only the last few miles the road gets a little tighter and twistier but as you said, if we can get our Nelly down there then then a twin axle should be fine too. I’m sure you’ll love the site too, plenty of space on every pitch they are very spacious and the site really does have everything you need. There are some beautiful places to visit in the area too. Hope you have a wonderful holiday and the weather is kind to you. We had 70mph winds when we were there but it didn’t put us off at all. 😊
Really great video, thank you we went here a couple of years ago I can confirm that it is a really great park to spend your holidays we went to Mevagissey which is just down the road and up the road back into town there's a fab Cornish pasty place and K.F.C. and MacDonalds too! We came for 1 week last time but staying2 this time! Cannot wait! Thank you again for your video keep them coming please? its great to have a REAL review and without any swearing, very respectable and so i feel that your view matters. I will be subscribing! We LOVE Cornwall I'm 58 been going since being around 6 years old!. thank you again!
Hi there Thank you so much for your lovely comments, we have been a bit busy this last couple of months with our main businesses but plan to get back very soon to publishing weekly videos again. We hope you have a wonderful holiday. Scott & Di.
Great tour around boring i have been around 30 times and its never been boring there is plenty to do and its beutiful and if you havent gone go to the sharksfin in mevergissey the food is AMAZING!
Did I say it was boring? I didn’t realise, we didn’t think it was boring at all, we really enjoyed our trip and there are lots of things to do in the area.
I believe so yes, there was a lot of kids entertainment early evening, we were there very early in season, first week. We didn’t actually use the bar while we were there so not sure on entertainment for adults in the evening. It’s a very nice site with everything you need there, also a decent little Nisa shop just next door as well if shop on site doesn’t have what you need.
Hi Steve To be honest it really depends what you’re looking for( full holiday park or caravan park), we’ve stayed at a few of n Devon and Cornwall but for a holiday type experience, especially if you have kids then Pentewan is top of the ones we’ve visited, not the cheapest but I wouldn’t expect it to be. Others we’ve been to range from simple just a pitch with shower blocks and a kids park, like Lemonford, or where we are now, Parker’s farm Newton Abbot, has good play area, football field, bar and restaurant with a small arcade for kids, and reasonably priced too.
