@@laylas4300The difference is she portrayed herself as willing to convert and change before they married. He did not. He has always been honest about what type of life and marriage he wants. She keeps changing her mind. I would not want to live as a Muslim. So I don’t. No one forced her to convert. She deceived them as a way of escaping her life. Only she is the problem and she continued to be miserable. She refused to accept this and now blames him for her continued misery and is abusing him. It’s dreadful to watch the damage one lost soul can cause.

@@punkitten2456 I might be wrong but I never saw her say anything about her drastically changing who she was for him. She "converted" but as far as I saw on the show she always stood firm in her fundamental beliefs. Now granted I'm not saying she was right but I just don't think she's the only one to blame

However I feel she is more responsible for their situation when I take into account that she freely chose to convert for him yet never really made an attempt to educate herself before or after her conversion in any meaningful was. Plus from her mouth she has told us about promises she made before their wedding and broke afterwards because she decided she didn’t want to follow all the rules after all. There were many major promises made before marriage and broken afterwards. These are from her confessionals. He was naive to jump into the marriage with a stranger. He was also a lot younger than her. I did not like his behavior in Egypt but her choices have really brought out the worst in both of them. I think if she had been honest and upfront from the beginning it could have been different. His expectations may have been more in line with what she could actually do or he could have walked away before they entered into a marriage. Her behavior since he arrived has been absolutely unacceptable though. I can’t both sides that situation.
