If I had a nickel for every time a game about building things with blocks had a criminal underworld, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
okay what the hell? when i clicked on this video i assumed a youtuber with atleast 100k subs. 1.2k. 1.2k subscribers. keep uploading, you're going to go so far.. i support you all the way 😢
You and I make somewhat similar content so I’ll actually give you some feedback Firstly the editing is great, on point and slightly too fast in certain points Secondly the intro could use some more context, the intro sequence is cool but the first few seconds need to get someone’s attention and simply explaining the basic idea of your video isn’t ALWAYS the best idea since you repeat the title and thumbnail, instead tell the viewer a small part of the story and video and then go from the beginning And lastly, try to be more connected to the viewer, you are a person, act like one rather than a voiceover for a story that you’re telling Also try to balance your audio and music a little bit better, sometimes you go quiet while the audio doesn’t, the music and voice go quiet, or the music goes too quiet I’d recommend getting some more unique music, similar music makes a style and tone but sometimes it can get repetitive within your own videos and other videos which just make you look like another character And lastly id recommend explaining your idea straightforward, I was 3 minutes into your video and you were going nowhere while simply telling me information, tell the viewer the backstory (notch’s story) then give them the main idea and THEN give them the examples and their individual problems Overall you’ve got the style, the effort and the quality but you need more experience and a balance of pace and tone
You are very good at this. You have a lot of potential. Your video has the quality and effort and time that most 100k sub or even 1mil sub channels have. You have a big responsibility with stuff like this. You are good at saying not just what needs to be said but also doing it in a unbiased way. You are also good at saying things in a very effective and efficient amount of time and even include information for those who may not know about a topic that much just in case. Good job man. A warning though if you keep doing these types of videos however. Your task in these videos is to present information. Make sure the information is true. It hurts more than it helps to spread misinformation. I believe in you man and wish for you to succeed.
According to the European law, you need to change the guidelines ONLY AFTER you notified the playerbase. The EULA counts as a guideline and it has been illegally changed (they didn't notify about it directly through email or their game, you don't need your Twitter account to log into the game so it doesn't count)
Hello! I heard you wanted some feedback, so here I am. First of all, let me come clear and say that this video is really good and you have a lot of potential. Whilst watching the video, I've noticed a few things that I personally would change. I'm a professional video editor and really experienced in cinematography, so see this as constructive criticism and not a personal attack. Starting at 0:16 I see you use these really cool motion graphics, but you don't really see this ever again in the video except for transitions which is pretty sad. 0:25 SkyDoesMinecraft is introduced and teased a lot, but never talked about in the video Audio transition at 0:46 is very harsh 0:52 The intro made it feel like you are going with a documentary style. I personally would not use the Impact font for that 1:31 The way the text is structured and shown really reminds me of a standard RU-vid video and not of a documentary 2:24 If you are going for a documentary-style I would change the way the titles are structured and appear on screen. This goes for most of the titles in the video 2:58 Random boom sound in the middle of camera movement? 3:02 Personally I would change the way that the red line stops at marketplace once you say marketplace. The general movement and the continuing of the red lines I'd say is good 3:16 That is create mod, a Java Edition mod. Not a Bedrock addon 3:39 The developer image is very dark and hard to see, especially on mobile. You might love retention here 3:47 XBox and PlayStation logos are very dark and do not fit the background color 3:49 You are overusing this distortion effect 4:07 After you are going more to the price, it's really hard for the eyes to look at as there's such a large empty space next to it. Rather make the image larger and a little less to the left 4:29 The movement of the image stops before the clip stops 5:07 So much whitespace at the right side of the screen 5:11 Camera angle is confusing for the viewer 5:32 Camera angle is confusing for the viewer 6:31 Angle of questionmark is confusing for the viewer 6:41 Icon is incredibly blurry 6:50 Camera angle of shown text is confusing 7:25 Typos: Hack clients = Hacked clients Unfail Advantage = Unfair Advantage 7:53 Red effect is very linear 8:50 *Check your sources!* The player is not called Anni Cenpi but Anna Senpai 8:56 Camera angle is weird 9:38 Lightning ends before clip end 9:47 I would also mention that after MIRAI was published, people used to it DDOS CloudFlare, the PlayStation Network and more, so the viewer knows that this is more than just a simple DDOS program. 10:55 and Java applications 10:58 No, they are not .exe files. Minecraft runs without a sandbox, so the moment the Java program has been loaded, they can just steal all your data. The way you say that .exe files can have exploits, suggests that .jar files are *never* exploits, which is incorrect and can lead to more people getting hacked 11:12 Weird camera angle 11:35 Angle of exclamation mark is confusing for the viewer 12:01 Image is (again) very dark and you may lose retention from mobile viewers 12:09 I would make the red line hit a dot about Pay2Win servers when you say the words "Pay2Win servers" 13:31 Distortion effect is blocking the view/making it confusing 14:43 Angle of question mark is confusing 15:41 😭the questionmarkkkkkkkkk 16:05 You are in a very, very dangerous legal part here. I would but this into a part at the end with "My own opinion". The video feels like you are trying to state facts, not give out your meaning. In this context you might get some legal problems here. Probably not, I don't think Mojang would do anything but be careful :) 16:12 You can see the end of the image at the top left corner 16:52 The camera angle is very confusing 17:27 The jump cut looks like you are switching the mountain 20:28 Yes the contact was very weird and questionable, it was not explicit 22:54 "Hate" disappears for just a very short amount of time, which is confusing 22:58 😭 23:23 You are going back to this web of things, though you rarely used it in the video 23:36 The subscribe button and other video show up very late. Most people will have already clicked off the video and not even have a chance to see your other video General stuff I would change - All replay shots (angles, movement speed, contents) - Don't use the Impact font if you're going for a documentary style video - Structure the titles differently if you're going for a documentary style video - Check your sources! - When going through multiple images (mostly the ones where it's from top to bottom), reduce motion blur or let them stay on screen longer, it's really hard to read Don't see this as an attack, but rather as feedback. I really enjoyed the video and I think you have lots of potential. Most of the things I said were for if you want to super-perfect your video. Otherwise I'd say 8/10! Good job.
What's wrong with the impact font lmao? And why do you hate that non-straight question mark so much? LOL And quite a few of the "mistakes" you pointed out could be countered with: it's just a stylistic choice. Your criticisms about it are still valid tho
15:59 they can’t really even ban the ips fully, that’s client sided and can be bypassed by client mods like No Prying Eyes (basically No Chat Reports if it was super buff) No Prying Eyes can also bypass player bans, whereas No Chat Reports still lets you get banned if a server *requires* message signing 19:23 I don’t like when people refer to cheats as simply “mods”, there’s a difference between something like sodium and then legit cheating
I tried to simplify the video as much as possible- I even put the words “extremely simplified” when I was talking about dedoose protection. It’s really just a script writing issue for me. Glad you noticed that- sorry if I used some incorrect terminology.
High quality video, but I’m a little sad you didn’t talk at all about the crazy doxxing and ddossing going on in the pot pvp community back in 2012-2016
Probably one of the best short-form documentaries I've seen for a RU-vid channel of this size, nicely done! Unfortunately in some parts of your video it was difficult to hear your voice over the soundtrack. I'm not gonna pretend like i have anything else to add since others have already phrased these ideas quite well.
Someone once tried to compromise my Minecraft account. His name was _ItsMullariaz_ but he was apparently a really trashy hacker, because I got it back in less than an hour.
Imagine bro threatening you and you are just a kid without knowing shit and bro threatens you to leak your pics Like bro, most kids wouldn't pay since they won't know shit, so I don't get it
5:50 The sad thing about this is that I HIGHLY doubt it'd fly in a reasonable court setting but... it's microsoft so they'd just buy their way outta it anyway...
great video! just wanted to point out that the music and the voiceover are different volume which makes it hard to find the best setting to watch what i mean: go to 17:15, it's just the right volume and it's how the majority of the video sounds like, but just ten seconds later (17:25) it's really loud and i had to turn down my volume because of it. other than that, i have no complains. your video is really well made and i can just tell that you spent a lot of time making it! keep it up!
The quality of this video is worth far more than 1.2k subs. When i went to sub i expected to see like 50k at the very least. But 1.2k? Thats insane. I hope you get the subs you deserve.
I used to be in the community, There is some scary shit that goes down there. I was at an auction for a mojang employee account, It went for over 90,000 dollars…
As someone who is quite high up in the Minecraft Event scene I can say for a fact that yes most servers are corrupt but Hacker client developers don't cause this. it also isn't against the EULA.
I never said hacking was against the EULA, if you paid even the smallest modicum of attention whilst watching this video you would know that I was referring to the buying and selling of Minecraft accounts as a violation of Minecraft's EULA policies. Being high up in "the event scene" does not make any of your points accredited in any way.
i honestly love the skibidi gyatt rizzler elements of it, and the only down side was that it wasnt sussy to my liking, but thats fine as some people dont like that much sussiness, and honestly the part where the camera guy beats up the skibidi rizzler was a phenomenal masterpiece, in my opinion as a master skibidi toilet gyatt critic, you get a 9.9/10 keemstar medallions
The stuff about update sizes is untrue; updates were actually much smaller under Notch. While they happened more often, I’d say multiple of the updates at the time grouped together would at most be equal to one modern-day update, if not be less than. People in the Minecraft fanbase today only complain because either A. they’re not satisfied unless it’s a big gameplay-changing update for them, B. they think the new stuff is a lot of unnecessary fluff, or C. they simply aren’t interested in what Mojang is adding. There have been smaller updates like 1.15 (the bees are here!), but in that case, a big update usually happens within the same year. There’s also a lot more technical changes than there used to be. As for the rest of the video, yeah, it’d be nice if Mojang took action to get rid of all the scummy stuff.
Worse, when a jar file is executed by a mod load It gains execute permissions, which means it is an executable. I know this because I've seen bad jar files. I think the entire modding protocol needs to be redone so that it loads them in a safer way but that's a topic for another day.
I think that by the end of this week, the video will be really popular and you'll blow up! I thought this video probably had around 500k views until I saw another comment pointing out your sub count. Hope you get big soon!
"criminal underworld" >talks about slop being on market place >talks about hack clients >talks about server price gouging >talks about dream drama this isn't really criminal, nor is most of it illegal, and most people already know about these things
This was more of a test video to test out some new editing techniques. I never intended for this video to get that many views- I mainly put "criminal" in the title for dramatic effect, although some of the stuff I mentioned in this video like the stealing of Minecraft accounts is illegal.
thought it was a naughty symbol at the beginning when it zoomed out lol.. awesome video, thought you had like 1 mil subscribers cuz this quality is insane
A .jar file is not a Minecraft mod file. It also does not disguise itself as an exe. A jar file is a file for the programming language java (not javascript!). A jar file has many permissions and is mostly hard to detect as a virus due to java having commandline access.
I haven’t watched the full video yet, but from looking at the comments I noticed something that needs to be brought up by as many people as possible. Hypixel Skyblock ratting. It’s one of the most promonent issues in sb and even with everything the admins and everyone has done/said it still happens often. I personally know 3 people that have gotten ratted and it happened to me twice.
Congratulations man. I'm glad the changing of the thumbnail worked out for you. 50K views is no joke, that's a big feat, if you ever need anything else just let me know.
I will show this video to my children and grandchildren. Man, Minecraft's community topics suck, only hope is to teach the little ones about all of these at home. Thank you user Bam Marks, hope you keep growing with this content. 🧡
