STORY
Today, we invite you on an extraordinary journey into the depths of a hidden forest, where a forgotten mansion from 1884 awaits our exploration. Once a warm and lively home for a family of six, this house holds secrets that have been buried for decades.
In its prime, the mansion's inhabitants led seemingly ordinary lives. The father was a hardworking man in the oil business, while the mother devoted herself to caring for the home and their four children. However, as we venture into the corridors of this mysterious house, it becomes clear that there is more than meets the eye.
The first hint of an unsettling presence greets us in the grand main hall. On a table, we discover a letter, its contents veiled in mystery. Beside it lie two knives, their purpose unknown. Our curiosity piqued, and we can't help but wonder, "Why?"
As we delve deeper into the mansion, our senses are assaulted by an eerie atmosphere. Beds stained with dried blood send shivers down our spines, and as we navigate the halls, the distinct sound of heavy footsteps from an unknown source resonates from the attic above. To our surprise, upside-down crosses adorn the walls of multiple rooms, casting an ominous shadow over the house's history.
For over three decades, this mansion has stood untouched by human habitation, its secrets locked away like a time capsule. Today, however, we embark on a daring adventure, determined to unravel the enigma that this house guards so fiercely.
Join us as we venture into the heart of darkness, peeling back the layers of the past to discover what truly transpired within these walls. Prepare to be captivated as we delve into the chilling secrets that have lain dormant for far too long. Will we uncover the truth or be consumed by the darkness that lurks within?
Don't miss this thrilling exploration into the depths of the forgotten mansion. Hit that subscribe button and buckle up for an unforgettable journey into the unknown. Let's unlock the mysteries of this house together.

The balcony as you called it, is what we in the South call a summer porch. It was used to sleep in during the hot summer months. This house is a capsule of the 1960’s and early 70’s. I actually had the same Americana bed spread that my mother bought for me in 1969. How brave you are to go thru these creepy houses. Stay safe.

My neighbor had that same sewing machine when I was about six to eight years old. She used it weekly, and kept sewing notions in the drawers, tools necessary for sewing clothes and things. I agree it was late 60s 70s time frame. Lots of things I grew up with, normal American household.

One night in February of 1982, rural Georgia police got a disturbing 911 call from a mother in panic. Her 16 year old son Thomas had just been brutally stabbed to death while he was asleep in bed. When Georgia dispatch showed up to the grisly scene, they discovered the teenager had been murdered by his 14 year old sister, Rachel and she was nowhere to be found. And we later found out, she didn't only intend of killing her brother that night.. she also had plans of killing her parents but because of the screams of her brother as he was being stabbed to death, she panicked, dropped the knife and escaped out the back door and ran into the woods. So a little bit about Rachel, she seemed like a normal 14 year kid, she made decent grades in school, she was quiet, but from the outside looking in, nothing seemed out of the ordinary BUT According to interviews with Rachel's siblings, she was very troubled from an early age, she didn't really have any friends, and she spent most her time alone in her room but as she got older, Rachel became more and more reclusive and it was around this time, she developed a fascination with Satanic worship and began practicing satanic rituals in her bedroom, right next to her brother Thomas' room. And to this day, her parents blame the murder solely on Rachel's Satanic practices. HOWEVER the plot to this story gets even thicker… check this out- in later interviews with 2 of Rachel's siblings, they introduced new details to this story that paints a much broader picture of what might have truly been going on the household. They claim that from the age of 7, Rachel along with her younger sister was being molested and abused by Thomas But that's not all Allegedly, Rachel's FATHER, had also been molesting the two girls. Her father of course denies these claims and says that the devil made Rachel do it and not perhaps years of sexual, emotional, and physical torment she had to endure before she finally snapped and devised a plan to murder her own brother and parents. During the very brief investigation and court proceeding Rachel's story of what happened to her as a child matched perfectly with what her two siblings claimed… nevertheless, she was giving a harsh sentencing to 28 years in a mental facility in Florida. Apparently after the murder, the family moved pretty from the small Georgia town and never really looked back… understandably so. But here's another kicker- they left everything inside the 1884 home and they didn't sell it either. Grant it, I imagine it'd be a tough sell considering what happened there. I'm Jeremy and I'm an abandoned explorer and filmmaker. I document all of my explorations from around the world to shed light into the dark world of decay. Follow my adventures at: JEREMY XPLORES

I have always loved your videos. Not mainly for the content mainly because of you. I discovered your channel a long time ago and I have always found your voice to be soothing for some reason. Whenever I had anxiety, I’d watch one of your videos and just listen to you talk about the property you were exploring and it would just melt away. Your channel also reminds me of my mom who recently passed away. She was never a big RU-vid watcher but one of the few channels she liked was yours because she also liked the sound of your voice and we would just chill together in the living room and listen to you and I would sit with my mom and just ramble about everything that was on my mind. A lot of things that remind me of my mom make me immensely sad because I was so close to my mother. However, your channel does not. It always brings me back to all the good times I had with my mother. It lets me feel like I am chilling with her still. Even though she’s gone. Please never stop making videos. I’ll always be here. Your content is more powerful than you think it is and it does impact people’s lives But I’m just some random guy on the Internet. I just really wanted to say that because I wanted to thank you for those memories I got to make with her

I believe this is the house described by a person named Andrea in the comment section. Something terrible did happen in that house. A teenager sister killed her teenager brother. She also had planned to murder her parents as well. The girl had claimed her brother had molested her from a very young age. She had used a knife to murder her brother. They said she claimed she worshipped the devil or something...which explains the upside down crosses in the room. The two knives that were in the hallway were meant for the mother and someone else, I assume to hold them responsible for what happened. Because the other siblings confirm that their sister that claimed she was molested was actually telling the truth. It is like they hold the mother responsible in some way for what happened?? I am speculating based on the history provided which does match up with the date when the house was built and the date the house was abandoned in Georgia. It would make sense that they would walk away from this place as they experienced so much trauma and do not want nothing to remember their past so they left behind everything. The large blood stains on the bed must be the bed the brother was killed in. The smaller blood stains in the small bedroom attached to the another bedroom must have belonged to Rachel, the murderer. She was disturbed and withdrawn and that may have been why she was in that tiny side room without a door so that they could monitor her. Very shocking!!!! OMG!!! OMG!! OMG!! We often wonder why they abandon everything and it always seems to be under tragic circumstances. They walk away with no reminders of their painful past. This was an awesome video!! Thanks to Lesley.
@bobbys4327
@bobbys4327 10 месяцев назад
If someone was repeatedly stabbed in one of those beds the "blood" stains would be much, much larger. My sister was molested by our father. At the time I had no "for sure" idea that our father was doing that to my sister, but looking back, there were subliminal undertones that a youngster would not understand. Finding this all out by my sister decades later brought back the strange way my sister acted towards our father and mother. Yes, my mother had to know what was going on and chose to ignore it out of not wanting to be on the street with children.

The interior wood work is so beautiful! It is a shame it isn't listed as a historical site and preserved. I could be wrong, but I think the "hallway" that you enter into @10:50 was added on later. It would have created a "short" cut to get from one end of the house to the kitchen without having to go through the other rooms. It is interesting to see so many beautiful antiques along side the newer furniture. It is a shame all those antiques are just left there. I fell in love with all the wood work in this home. The house was incredibly creepy! Thank you for staying to the end to show us the entire place!

People really feel something ,when they enter some building,it doesn't matter whether it is abandoned or not, as the people living or lived over there,creates an impact on their surroundings, which are created ,as a result of their sinful or virtues-full lives,which they use to spend in this world,and l think everybody can feel them,as its a fact.On the other hand ,those blood stains which are seen in this video,on the bedspreads etc, can be of some injured animal etc ,which had entered from some broken door or window,and the note which you people showed in the beginning of the video ,can be written by any invader,and it isn't possible that its written essentially by the actual residents of this house.We liked the video in general,and the story about the inhabitants of the building in the beginning of the video .These houses are just like museums,which gives us ,a lot of knowledge about the living life-style of the people of the olden days.Thanks for the videos.Keep it up.A lot of good prayers for all the video makers from Raawalpindee, Northern Province of Punjaab, lslaamic Republic of Paakistaan, South Asia 🌏 😊😊(Mr. and Mrs. Meaann Muhammad Afzul).

That “mouth stopper” wooden plaque in the kitchen has a Georgia bulldog on it. They were UGA fans (University of Georgia, the Georgia Bulldogs). If this is during hunting season then you must’ve filmed it before Thanksgiving in November and before turkey season ended in March. Going to places like this in the backwoods of anywhere in the Deep South is not advisable; it’s akin to taking your life in your own hands. Everybody hunts in these areas and they’re not all always the best shots, but you can bet they all have high powered rifles and a lot of people will shoot at anything that they see movement in. Georgia is one of the “patron states of shooting stuff.” If you’re going to do this anyway orange caps would also be advisable, as would making human noises. Especially don’t plan your trips around the holidays because even more hunters are out - with friends and family, even their kids (as young as seven or eight). People’s kids hunt by themselves, which is something to seriously consider. It’s not unusual for 15-16 year olds out with high powered rifles and they’ll shoot at pretty much anything. Places like these here in the Deep South have high incidences of ‘hunting related accidents.’ But if you’re going to do this anyway, you need orange caps too. The more orange the better. And make noise - human noises. I cannot iterate enough in saying ‘hunting related accidents’ in these areas. Pretty much every hunter owns at least one high powered rifle, or their drunk friend will loan them one. Going into any area where you see the old confederate flag displayed (and I’m sure you did) is pretty much indicative of the kind of people you’re around. There would be no “blood” around the inside of this old house. I’m sorry to break this to you but you’ve been lured in by some ‘urban legend’ and this a setup, really nothing more; the notes written in black markers, butter knives, the “stories.” You’ve been set up, my friends. Interesting old house but just an old house, nonetheless. People love tall tales in these areas and some people live for things like that because they’ve nothing better to do with themselves. Except maybe to shoot at something in the woods . . .

This was a great video, Leslie. I think from what I saw that this house belonged to two elderly people for a long time judging from the plastic flowers on the walls and the weird children pictures. The next set of owners were hoarders who were picking up "bargains" from yard sales and such (re: the $5 chair tag) and storing them in the downstairs. What became of them and who Kalie was we will never know. The blood on the beds may have been from animals that were maimed or killed in the house and eaten by other animals. i am sure this place was scary. No matter how you look at it, this was a great find. Keep up the great work!

Introduction to an American Folk Art Style of the South: The art work at mark 41:01, is not meant as upside down crosses, rather, it is a piece of art in progress. In the 1970's and 80's, it was very popular for people to take things made out of Jute or Wicker and stick flowers and other decorations in between the weaves to make decorations. My Grandma and many people I knew did this. If you look at mark 7:17, in the kitchen, above the door, those 3 wicker baskets are actually paper plate holders; which more than likely they meant to adorn with silk flowers at some point. Throughout the home, you see this style of art displayed, it was apparently something they really liked. For examples, see marks: 3:09, 3:18, 4:08, 15:17, 20:10, 45:11, 46:08, 46:20, 46:34, 47:26, 48:16. The fan above the fireplace at 4:08; my Grandma actually had 2 of these wicker fans in her home on the wall of the den. Her, and her sister, each bought 2 fans, they when proceeded to knit a yarn floral arrangement and attach them to the fans and presented them to each other as a gift. Growing up in the 1970's, one of my friend's mother, had several of these Jute on Stretcher Canvass things, and with the Holidays, we would change out the decorations, so at Xmas you had Santa's and at Easter you had Bunnies, and etc. I genuinely believe, that the questionable objects on that wall at 41:01, is someone laying out flowers on a Jute Canvass for an art project which they never finished.

Yep, agree completely this is what it is! I'm also from the South and have seen more than my fair share of those jute/wicker thingies lol - they're kinda like the crochet and macrame plant holders everyone made around that time, very popular. The scary story is more fun, but yeah, nothing more sinister than an unfinished art project here haha.

With the bedroom with twin beds, the design is based on a 60s style, the bigger room being a baby/childrens bedroom and the bedroom you walk through was the nursmaid/nannys room, it was done that way so no one apart from the parents/guardian could get to the children unseen and so the nanny was close to deal with thier wards (the children or elderly patients in later years)

At around 12 minutes, you are looking at "interior" windows, but I'll bet those were initially exterior windows. It totally looks like an add-on, which is normal in those "big" homes. I love trying to find what was original & what was added. I also love trying to figure out the original intended use of various features of the building. For instance, I wonder if that little room off of the kitchen was a butler's pantry or just a pantry. I know the very tiny bedroom at around 45 minutes was originally another bathroom. You can tell by the sink, the holes in the wall where plumbing was/is, as well as its placement off the orange bedroom. I'm a New Orleans girl, so I have lots of great architecture to explore. Many of our old homes start as a small home, but then every 50 years or so, it will get added to. I just love the houses that become mazes of craziness from all the changes. The smaller clawfoot tubs are called sitting tubs. At least, that's what I have heard it referred to as. There are also standing tubs, which are so hard to find still in a home. It was the original form of a shower. The blood stains almost look like someone with draining sores or something similar laid there. Finally, upside down crosses can have a dark meaning, but this looks more like a simple design. With that kind of stuff, it is always about the intention of the person. Usually, if it is meant that way, it is an upside down crucifix. It's like with voodoo - technically, it is simply a form of African catholicism, but the few that use it for dark are the only ones spotlighted. Most voodoo is simply faithful people praying to their saints.

I actually, about 3 years ago, purchased a 120 year old, 7,500 square foot, 3 story, Queen Anne - Style Victorian mansion. It was built in 1904, and I even purchased it with all the original, beautiful, antique furniture inside, which is still in pristine condition. I give a tour of it on my channel, if anyone is interested. I absolutely love the craftsmanship and historical value of older properties, and I really appreciate your channel, for bringing those qualities, and those lost stories to light, for so many people witness! Lots of love, and keep up the great work!💌

It turns out a 14 year old girl, whose bedroom was that pink room, went into the next bedroom, which was her brother's bedroom, one night, and stabbed him to death while he was sleeping. Her plan was to do the same to her other family members, but her brother's screams awoke the other members of the house ... happened in 1982 ..... she was sentenced to an asylum .... but for how long, I don't know ....

Hi Lesley & Mureno, Georgia Mansion 1984!! The Wicker Plates You said in the Kitchen on the Wall 10:11 was for Paper Plates to hold Them, Yes I had them, long ago! When you walked & said 10:12 that it was a Fridge for Deer, but it was a Freezer! We call the Bathtub Claw Feet!! At 11:50 the Decoration on the Wall was Not a Peacock, but a Rooster-Male Bird to Chickens!! The Glass Lamp with Deer on it, was from 1980`s!! I still have glass lamps from those Years!! Cluttered Downstairs & Upstairs Not Cluttered, All Beautiful Furniture & Paintings!! 7 Beds & 6 bedrooms!! Antique Metal Fan, 1950`s!! Moonshine is 100% Alcohol!! Yes the Balcony was for sleeping Outside Summer Time!! Now I first thought bloodstains, was from animals who fought & crosses upside down, was like Red Cross meaning help, But if You Read @adreac777 She Tells of the Story of This House...Wow, that was Scary!! Take care & be safe, both of You & have a Safe Trip Home!!❤ Love Barb from Central Illinois USA💖😎✌ @Karolinaknyz7902 for the True Story

I read the energy of that house as positive and one of love. You can see it in the details of the rooms. They had curtains that matched the wall decor. All the plastic flowers everywhere to brighten up the place with color. . Here's how I read this house. It was a convalescent home. probably for tuberculosis and when treatment came for TB there wasn't a use for homes like these anymore. There are tables pulled up to beds like to take medicine. The stains on the mattress could be people cough up blood with TB. But every room is appointed. And the number of beds, especially on the sun porch, open air was a TB treatment. Yeah, I see a place where people where cared for and given a place to try and heal. that's my two cents.

That breathtaking main staircase and some of the mantle pieces are beautiful examples of Eastlake Style carpentry. And those upside down crosses are probably Saint Peter’s crosses, they seem to be painted on ornamental fabric medallions and adorned with artificial flowers, I didn’t think they were creepy. Remember the mansion in that small French town you guys visited about a year ago, the house of M. Jean-Louis? There were actual upside down crucifixes placed on every bedroom of the second floor. Those coke bottles were most likely from the 1980's. I was a kid back then and I know the returnable bottles were pretty much phased out by the late 80s. I remember taking packs of bottles like that to the store when I was little and using the deposit refund money to go toward another pack. The "I love you. I love you more." thing was probably just a silly game between Kalie and her mum. No idea why someone would write it out like that on paper though. That bit is weird.
@spinstercatlady
@spinstercatlady 11 месяцев назад
Agree, definitely from the 80's. I was thinking the note might be an ongoing "back and forth" from them too. Like, maybe when one would come to take care of something at the house they'd leave an "I love you" then when the other person/family member came/went they'd also leave their note....something like that lol. The note didn't seem sinister though 🤷‍♀️

I saw another documentary about this house where the 14-year-old girl apparently stabbed and killed her 16-year-old brother. I could not find it again but believe the doll found this time was different and there was not a note in that video. The doll was on the girl's bed in that one and it looked like someone had stabbed the doll in the chest with a knife. Makes me wonder if some of the things in the other video were staged. I always feel your videos are honest and respect the way you treat the contents of the homes.
@purpleflash27

It’s true about doll. I saw about this home from another explorer. JeremyXplorer. The doll was on the bed with a knife in its chest. But in this video she is not on the bed, the doll is in a different place, instead of the doll there is a vase on the bed! There are other paintings in the living room on the first floor! And there was more antique furniture in the other video! And in this video, some of the furniture disappeared. How is this possible? I think they are deceiving us for the sake of views on RU-vid, they themselves move the objects in advance!

Glad you didn’t get caught. That could’ve turned into a Deliverance scenario. It does indeed look like they used that old country house a kind of warehouse or storage space to dump unused items. The note wasn’t too alarming to me. I interpreted it as a note written by a woman to her sister and mother. Maybe they returned to the house on separate occasions to look for something they had left there. Finding it could be thought of as a game to some. The sound you heard may have been an infestation of raccoons … they can get in the walls and ceiling and make a lot a disconcerting noises.

@@mariecolette9066 Yeah. No matter how bad certain peoples belongings look like, they may have a good reason behind them. I hereby declare that I currently have a room in worse condition than a typical junkie. My lawn is almost similar elephant grass than in tropics. I shave my beard only about once per month. I change my bed clothes less than once per year. REASON: I am forced to be a carer for my 98 year old grandmom who abuses her power as a patient like that (if a caretakers unthankful job was not hard enough). There are also other reasons. That is another way of saying I dont have time or energy for anything additional, such as shaving my beard often. Some others making a video put the cross art of the daughter "upside down", & tbh it looks like they sprinkle blood on the beds to make it appear a killer visited (for million more views) It wasn't original like that. Just a grandparents home. The last days of the original family is in between 1995/6 and early 2000s. I recognize the Chinese touch lamp and recent toaster oven in the kitchen. The Roper stove is a collectible item not many left in existence. The "art" covered cabinet was originally an expensive radio they removed the inside. It really appears to be a "storage house". It exists in Canada as well. Flea market owner purchase a condemned house for use as a storage facility instead of renting.
