Uncovering the Shocking Truth Behind SCP-682 by Mr. Illustrated - Reaction 

Yeah this is pretty sad, and in my opinion this is the best origin story of 682 I have ever read, you understand his anger and rage, and where he said: "I just want to go home." you can't help but Feeling sad for him, I hope in the end, he will find peace.

It's one of cannons not the only cannon

One of the first SCP things I ever read was a story where the end of the world started, but it was all the ends of the world at once, and then they all started fighting each other. It was never finished and discontinued a long time ago unfortunately, but I remember in that one 682 was death's steed. The name was something along the lines of Competitive Eschatology.

As one of the original founders & a prolific writer for SCP, I consider anything that Dr. Cimmerian contributes to be solid canon to the entire genre. I've seen this particular story before & it struck me pretty hard that so much confirmed lore was revealed so quickly, although I have to admit it didn't strike me nearly as hard as it did 682... 😉 The same goes with Mr. Illustrated's collaboration with Cimmerian for the 099 (Tickle Monster) vs. 035 (Possessive Mask) encounter...At least as far as it goes with the first version where they were separated before coming into contact with each other. There was an alternate version where they literally fight to the death, but I'm not certain how much (if any) Cimmerian contributed to that alternate ending. @10:26 - Wrath: "682 just can't catch a break today." On the contrary, it looked to me like he was catching a *lot* of breaks, mostly with his body & bones. 😁

They actually made you feel kind of bad for him. Not an easy thing to do.

Hey there Old Man Reacts. Just wanted to clarify a misunderstanding you seem to having about 682, at least in the context of this video. What happened to 682 (The serpent in the Garden of Eden) is more severe than a curse. This was essentially a commandment from God (SCP 343). Seeing how the bible (John 1:1 if you are interested in finding the verse) says the the Word was with God and was truly God; in order to change the sentencing inflicted on 682 would require changing God. According to the bible, 'Changing God' has only been performed once. That was when Jesus died on the cross to take the sins of humanity with him to hell/ the afterlife. Since changing God is essentially impossible, the remaining avenue for getting out of this sentencing would be (in my opinion) to understand the specifications of his anger at Humans. A daunting task considering the SCP will be prodding him with various 'tests' to understand his SCP. But at least self-reflection to reaching an understanding on his anger will be an plausible outcome to achieve in comparison to overcoming God.

Meh, 682 doesn't work as the Serpent in the Garden. It's on OK story, but it just doesn't work.

So in one of the scp´s realities, 682 is satan or the serpent.
