The intake manifold looks like a stock 96+ B18B1 manifold, and the off-road use only is probably from a jumper harness to make the stock engine harness work with a different OBD plug style ECU. Also the climate control and radio bezel is all 96-98 sruff, so someone went through the very labor intensive job (have to replace the heater core) of reverting back from 99-00 or the car is actually a 96-98. Feel free to reach out about EK and B series info, I know entirely way too much about them and have built multiple of them from bare chassis. P.S. - I also do a ton of Fit stuff.

No offense to the people who did the giveaway of the car but in my eyes that car is more of a hassle to own than a prideful piece, it’s illegal all over the place from being converted to obd1 making emissions-inspection impossible (depending where you live) solely expressing my opinion but it’s easier to get rid of it and take the money as a lottery ticket sort of deal where you can multiply your initial $100 dollar investment into 3500-4000
Seems like a typical exterior only stance build, but the car underneath is plagued with issues. I agree that it should be better for a giveaway, but it was a raffle car so I guess it doesn't have to meet the same standards.
The stance/"hellaflush" shoud be reverted. It's so stupid, unsafe and undrivable. I love mods but don't you dare come here in QC with that stance. It won't take more than a couple of minutes before getting a fat ticket or towed and 24 hrs to revert it back. And our roads suck so you'll scrape everywhere lol
