Dont know why this popped up on my feed. But she is definitely my new hero. This poor girl suffering from so much trauma but making sure the world hears her story is so amazing. Crazy that the cops didn't even tell her about her family members. She made sure her families story was told. This girl is so brave.

I cried throughout this victim's experience. It will take many years for this child to get past such a horrible experience, but in the end I am willing to bet she becomes stronger. She is, indeed, a very special child.
I think because he had nothing to do with it and hated the boyfriend and knew he was bad from the start they were probably really close siblings with mothers like that usually are each other’s safety net

This broke my heart. You can tell the pain she was feeling in her eyes. It’s just heartbreaking that’s a young girl had to go through something like that. U can tell how exhausted she is mentally and physically. It just breaks my heart.

Her mother ran to save their lives. She knew he wanted to kill her more than anyone else. She knew he would have run after her, and the others would have an opportunity to escape. The brother was too badly injured or probably dead at that point. This is so heart-rending. I see and feel some of the pain she's going through. I pray complete healing for you, sweetheart. You are a strong and wise girl.
This is horrible I’m breaking down here wow it’s so frustrating to hear how someone could be so heartless… I’m sorry you had to experience this and that the system fail you…. But I wanted to hear her story, we need to open our mind and see beyond the picture this is horrible but this is an example for all woman who have kids and date… we have to see red flags and stop it before it get ahead…. Stories like this make me stay single because I would never want my kids to be in any kind a danger 🙏….
You my little sister and you speaking facts it's been we went through everything my father he did have that but they wasn't there for him he went to jail 24/7 never care about us the only person was there was my mama our family doing a mess with us because my mom my dad side we used to stay in the hotel because he started fight to my brother but he never killed him or nothing nothing no he will never do that thank you always did is beyond my mama

This is what kills the most. The innocent needs the counselling but those who bring harm dont. I am glad in this case the Murder was caught because so many do not and will not get this.

At the age of 16 I watched my brother get murdered he died just a few feet away from me I was too scared to touch him I was too scared to interact with him and at that time I thought that this was the most horrible thing that could ever happen to anyone but then I saw this young lady's story and my heart broke even more for her than it did when my brother was murdered I hope this young lady has the best that life can offer I hope she's the brightest star in everything that she does I hope she overcomes and overwhelms everything she aspires to achieve I pray the best for her I just pray for her heart her life her soul her happiness and her piece of mine

Her mom tried to leave. Most of the time there is no way to leave unless the ones closest to the victim also disappear because they will usually kill or destroy anything that is important to the victim. That’s the thing. Abusers like that threaten to kill or destroy whatever is precious to their victims.
I understand the Mom's fears, but I would've thought about my children when making choices in partners. With dude not having a home, a car or nothing tangible he had nothing too lose by hurting her and her kids. LADIES MAKE WISER CHOICES follow your instincts if not for yourself for YOUR KIDS. I watched Alexis tell her story on another series. I hope she is able to have some relief and healing and peace at some point. I survived a violent attack in 2014 and I know the feeling of being hyper vigilant and scared all waking and sleeping hours. People would tell me I would cry in my sleep. There is never a normal after a violent tragedy like this, trauma is forever. Alexis is so strong, a survivor. She deserves all good things in life, and I hope she realizes all her wildest dreams in the future. ❤
I was recently stabbed 6 times and suffered severe hand injury as a defensive wound. This child is very strong and very, very lucky. I deplore that there are few survivors of stabbings and I deplore the lack of support for us. I am going to change this before I die, I promise.
Just lost a friend 2 weeks ago.. she had just become a travel nurse. Her bf shot her in the head and then himself.. she was only 24 and had 2 daughters. These people are getting crazy out here.

This is incredibly heartbreaking. I was tearing up the entire time and struggling not to cry. The pain she has endured is unfathomable. I can’t imagine watching my mother and brother die at the hands of such a horrible, selfish, heartless monster. The part when she said he told her mom he was going to make her kill her own baby girl was horrific and a true nightmare. It was extremely brave and courageous of Alexis to share her story with the world. My heart and prayers go out to Alexis and sweet baby KK. I hope you get the help and support you need to get through this tragedy. I also hope Jermaine gets what’s coming to him and has a HORRENDOUS time in prison. This guy is a parasite and has no business getting to live his life after taking 2 innocent souls.
4 years later I’m watching this crying my eyes out! I can feel her pain and discomfort, my stomach is hurting terribly and when she said “but my mom didn’t listen” I cough extremely hard.. Lord I’m praying she has peace! Thank You Alexis for sharing this story, I know it was hard but you taught me a lesson about LEAVING the first time.
She wants to talk about it and share her story about abusive men and to speak out and get help. Asap. Her story is amazing. She is gonna save so many lives. Also towards the end she says she wants tell the real story so people wont make assumptions that this man caught her cheating or some dumb shit. He was a homeless man who the mother helped and he took advantage of the mother.
I noticed her tiredness. Mostly these interviews are set with doctors behind them, but anyone in her front view should be more observant. My heart hurts for her. With all her hurt she articulates way more than adults. God has her EMGRACED

The whole story broke my heart but what got to me is how right at the end after answering every question she started to break down. No one deserves to be in the position she was in.. I can kinda relate to her my mom dated this boy and she kept on kicking him out but he kept on coming back we called the police but it dididn't work....one day he threw my mom against the concrete floor and she had blood and I was only 10 I'm 11 now and it's still going on ...my mom has five kids living in a three bedroom apartment and two of them r babys he hits us and everything
I wish I could throw my arms around this girl and just hug her tight, and let her grieve. She’s a tough young lady, and I pray that God and her surviving family, and her friends help her through her pain and help her find the right people who can help her process the horrific day she lived through and what she saw happen to her loved ones.

The mom was a sweet soul. She gave him everything. A place to stay, comfort, forgiveness. My heart aches for the mother the most. The fact her daughter has to live with this pain is heartbreaking.

It was her choice to tell her story, and she said she was telling it because she wanted the facts to be known to everyone so it would be clear who this man really was, violent and dangerous - she did not want the facts confused with assumptions or gossip. It wasn't forced or cruel, it was brave and inspiring.

I just believe in getting to know a person at least six months, before I bring them around my family. That’s not long enough. When my nephew was little, I never let him meet anyone I was dating. I learned from the guy I’d dated prior, to not allow him to get attached to anyone else. So, it turned out to be a smart move for all of us.
