Amazing video! Honestly I would love to see this as a series of making starting Warbands for Mordheim - Skaven, Cultists, Witch Hunters, Empire Mercenaries
Amazing video, love it! Is this kicking off a series on Mordheim? Would really be looking forward to faction spotlights (especially with such a thematic intro) and a general beginner's guide to Mordheim (f. e. which terrain is needed for a good play experience etc.)!
Leif, I wanna thank you a lot for your contribution In rising of Mordheims popularity! Amount of inspiration tips and help with your films and templates to do things by ourself is huge, I got interested in mord few months ago and your work helped me a lot in starting building my own city board :D Keep doing what youre doing, its great job man. You are amazing!
Loved this video. I have not played Mordheim for about 20 years, but now I'm going to. I especially liked the explanation on where you sourced your minis.
I have an undead faction in Mordheim. I purchased a lot of my models from Reaper Miniatures and went with older looking minis in their fantasy lines because I wanted my warband to have an old school/old hammer look.
Perfect video and perfect timing!! Been watching alll your videos and making scenery and as a first time player for Mordheim I chose undead so this video is perfect 👍🏻
Thanks for the video. I remember purchasing the box set when it was new, and although there were humans and Skaven included, Undead was my first warband I was excited to play. My Vampire rolled an early +1 WS early in our campaign and he was almost unbeatable.
Epic!! I’m doing an undead warband as well. This is one hell of a way to interest folks in mordheim. Keep this creepy and alluring content rolling. Great job.
Great !! As an old player, I have never been into Mordheim, cuz I thought warbands where too limited in terms of races, but honestly you motivated me ;) I am going to play Frostgrave with a friend so your video really put me in the right mindset ! Awesome table by the way !
This is a great video Leif! Funny enough I have something like this planned as well. Only it's gonna be for Forbidden Psalm. Love the warband generator of that game!
Those dregs are awesome. Dregs are always the model I get hung up on for what I'd use when I read over the undead mordheim list. Yours turned out great.
Some weeks ago there was a post on Reddit with a dreg built from a Skaven body, if you are looking for one more option. But I will sure copy Leif's idea :-)
I remember when I first read the description I couldn't visualize the concept properly; then I saw the pictures of warbands in White Dwarf and I exclaimed, "Oh, they're 'Igors!' (or 'Renfields')
@@DevsDice Oh yeah! I just finished watch your other video for witch hunters and it's a great one too! Your a huge reason I got started in Mordheim. So Thank YOU!
>have a mountain of warpstone dropped at your doorstep when the empire is the weakest >still fail to get enough for a super spell Well at least you got the girl, Vlad...
I’d love to see you make a little Mordheim battle report. I know battle reports are sorta done to death on RU-vid but your terrain is so beautiful it would be fun to see it in action.
This video was awesome. Thanks for showing how to build the list also for idiots like me who want to learn to play. I am already making a building from your tutorial. Will be sure to credit you brilliant artist.
I already have my Vampire warband, but only a few pieces of terrain... 2023 is the year I make a playable board and a second warband, to lure unsuspecting victims into (playing) Mordheim!
Thank you so much Michael Martell! Sorry for the "dislike" and the previous weird comment! My son confessed this morning to have done some minor sabotage! 👍😂
Hi Leif 😜 I do think that you are a professional when dealing with Airbrushes and Brushes. 😝👍 Could learn a lot from you... Your Channel rocks 🤘🤘🤘 Great Content Best wishes my friend 🤘😜
Loved the intro, the minis look fantastic and it's great seeing your talking about how Mordheim works. I've never played it but I'm getting more and more intrigued with every one of your videos. Anazing as always Leif :)
Glad to see more love for Mordheim. I've been working on a set of Morheim city tiles for my game table as well as buildings. But in the last couple of weeks have taken a break to work on some Blood Bowl teams. But I'll probably be back at it soon. Thanks for the great content.
This game isn't what I play but all the work Leif has done has peeked my curiosity. The terrain and board build are simply awesome to watch and keep me staying tuned to see what comes up next. Great job.
Thank you so much Thomas Braden! The thing I love about Mordheim is how much story is generated as you play it! It's the closest to X-COM on the tabletop! 👍😊
Thanks for this video, I am just getting into Mordheim and seeing a "starter" roster was helpful. Would love to see other warbands get the same treatment!
*_When I realized that 50% of the time spent on GW minis is cutting and assembling and base coating; I stopped doing that and hired someone to do that for me. That and mostly 3D printed minis that require zero assembly is what I do and use now._* *_I am sure you do not understand before you time and try it._* *_If you have only 12h a week to spend on the hobby and 6h are assembling before you can even start; those 6 extra hours add up to 300+ additional hours a year you can spend on the hobby._* *_There's so much we buy ready to use out-of-the-box; having the minis assembled and base coated should be the new norm._*
I can understand some part of it for sure RPRsChannel! That being said, I do enjoy assembling the older GW kits where you would equip your mini as you go! 👍😊
Nice looking warband, I like your choice of dreggs too. Enjoyed the intro and the art, your miniature selecting .. those new minis are really good, almost like someone at GW is slyly putting out Mordheim models. Nice to get to see another view of those towering buildings with the connecting bridges, I have table envy.. its so beautiful.
