This is my first place list from Fargo regionals 5/18/2024 playing Pur3 Melodious! Please like and subscribe! If you have any questions comment below and I'll try to answer them.
All of the congratulations for your pure regional win! It still warms my heart that people are performing with pure despite all the ruckus caused by the engine! I still am skeptical on Desires (one would have to have many questions about it because its potential putcomes and use cases are endless) and Powersink Stone (Not seeing the effectiveness of it, looks very clunky for the sake of a Skill Drain) but still, amazing job nonetheless!
Desires is great because orange light is very card hungry. Power sink stone just stop tenpai in there tracks and lets you turn back and otk. Deck can turn it on so easily highly recommend giving it a shot
@@Pur3TCG Still, wouldn't banishing more cards after you've gone through them in your combos lower the chances of finding a Fairy to discard? Or did the Desires draws just happen when you had lots of fairies in your hand?
The power sink stone adds a counter when an effect resolves so let's say you have shuberta and etoile and the stone and they normal summon and activate the effect of their starter you chain link 2&3 shuberta and etoile doesn't matter what order and they'll both resolve first triggering power sink stone and it will negate their starter and any other card they try to summon afterwards and then in the end phase it turns itself off
Would love some test hands!! There’s a few questions i had about the deck Link 2 melo, how often are you going into it? I feel like it’s a last resort type of card, not sure if thats wrong I switch between prosp and desires daily, what was the deciding factor? Also, desires off the rip or until after combo? Siding patterns plsss Did you ever get imperm’d on bacha? Surprised gravity controller never came up Congrats btw!!!
1: link 2 came up quite a bit as there wasn’t a game I didn’t get ht 2: orange light needs a high density of cards to be good so being able to draw 3 cards in the turn was the reason. 3: I saw a lot of first movement and combo in hand so I used the movement to grab aria and combo under it
DRNM is an easy one, you are staying alive so you need to manage your ressources well and get back next turn Same reasoning for droplet, your main objective is to stay alive and with etoile GY effect, your cards in pendulum scale, concerto draw, your handtrap and so on you try to stay alive while keeping a ressource game with your opponent Under droplet your opponent may kill you but they need to invest a lot of ressources into it it's not as broken as it seems Let me know if it helps you
I have both but not putting back the fusion spell turn 1 was making the lines weird and orange light is a very heavy handed card so refilling to make sure it was live mattered more to me.
@@Pur3TCGI can definitely see the reasoning behind wanting to draw more non-engine, but I don't understand the point about losing the Concerto draw making the lines weird. At the end of the day, it's a draw, did it come up in your combos? If anything, losing your 1ofs off of Desires could potentially make your lines weird (you mentioned your Shopina was banished once and you felt it).
I will be uploading a Sideboard discussion but there are so many combo videos out there for the deck that are way better than what I can show lol :) Highly recommend learning basic combos and just jamming games!
The amount of hand traps you get to play makes it so going second isn't the worst. Also you can make some plays like first movement into aria and kill apo that only has 2 negates and play mp2 with the targeting protection.
Do you really think it’s gonna be banned sooner then later, cause In the ocg it’s already over shadowed and got pushed out by the fiendsmith engine and the millieum engine already.
@@Pur3TCGMate, if Branded Fusion and other Branded cards didn’t get hit at their absolute peak, NO chance Melodious would get hit. Branded at its optimum was one of, if not the best engines going around
My buddy really helped me walk through side patterns. I could try and make a video explaining if ppl are interested in it but hypergeometric calculator is your best friend :)
