But is refreshing, since there are no posses, the guest fells more like a person who’s job just happens to be entertainer.. Tig is impressed then for the accomplishments, not their fame. I like this, specially in a world where people appears to be measured by the amount of followers, not their talent or persona.

I wonder if the actor is more conscious of opportunities to prove “see, I’m not Monk. Monk is a character I, actor Tony Shalloub, play”. True story: the US coast guard got multiple calls to rescue the crew of the SS Minow during the run of Gilligan’s Island. And fans of Downton Abbey who tour the actual estate where it was filmed complain _regularly_ that the estate owners and staff are “changing history” when disappointed to see that things in the show are different from the genuine article.

He is not underrated in any way and is very comfortable with his level of success. He has the accolades to prove how successful of an actor he is. In fact, as a character actor he has stated he prefers supporting roles to lead ones. He's a big deal, not just in a Brad Pitt kind of way
