Quick note: Since I used Stryd as an example, it's only fair to note; Under Armour Bluetooth does NOT support running power while Stryd does. Please remember this is not a head to head comparison. This video is intended to highlight features of the Velociti 2 which may make it a very overlooked and undervalued shoe! Although this technology is not new for Under Armour, it does beg the question. When will Under Armour take this technology and advance it? Thanks for watching :)
I love under armour shoes I’ve the same ones you have in black and Camo really excellent shoes and agree with everything you said about them, very underestimated shoes
Thanks for watching Robert. 100% agreed and I just checked out that color way; so nice. The Velociti is definitely underrated. Do you use the map my run or stick with conventional watch to app?
@@yani.leigh. I use map my run, I’ve a big collection of Under Armour trainers I like to mix them up I’m currently using the Hovr ds ridge trail shoes also an excellent shoe
@@uhlsport036 so good ! I ve really wanted to like Under Armour for quite some time, so this has been a revelation for me haha are you going to dive into the elite when it comes out?
Ahh good question! I have no experience in the phantom line up. What I can say is I ve ran, weight trained and dove into some agility work with the Velociti's and they ve been nothing but amazing.
I appreciate that! The novablast definitely softer, has more foam and is quite poppy! I would say the Velociti is more of a firmer shoe, good ground contact feel, responsive and way more stable. I prefer the upper on the Velociti as well. I personally don't mind the firmness in my daily trainer as it makes the more "super shoes" feel even more elite! Plus if you're interested in everything that Bluetooth has to offer, it's a great buy. If you prefer that more bouncy on a cloud feeling, then it's novablast all day long! Hope that helps
@@yani.leigh. That is a great insight man! I do like a softer feel on my daily trainers because it makes me kinda zone out from what is going on. But I am currently running in the Noosa tri 14's and man they are awesome and they have more ground contact so I am torn between them. Have you tried the Superblast yet from Asics or any of their line of shoes outside of the metaspeed line?
@@sldorse42 yeah! Check out the video on the metaspeed sky + , it's by far my favorite Asics to date! The superblast isn't released here yet so I will as soon as I can! The noosas are awesome too, great looking shoe as well. I would say the Velociti are super comparable to that , however a little less plush and a little more fast feeling!
@@yani.leigh. ah ok cool. I am a Nike guy for race shoes and I heard the alphafly's are the best out. I use the vaporflys and have loved them for half marathons but they start to hurt after mile 22 for me. Just do not think they have enough cushion to help me through those miles. I may have to try the meta speeds and see if I like them more
@@sldorse42 metaspeeds are a good try, have you ever thought about the adios pro 3 ? I always used alphaflys for my marathons but as of right now the pro 3s are my choice moving forward forsure!
