This is pro electrical work. I liked watching Ron twist wires, drill hole and run wires. His wire fishing skills are world-class. That said, I’d do a few things differently.

Its amazing, you dont have your wife over your shoulder questioning everything, and telling you how he dad would do it and asking if you want her to call him over to help... Amazing.

I did mine a little differently. I was doing a new tile backsplash so i had access to the wall outlet power. I tapped into the wiring and ran the 110V up to a small transformer/power supply that mounts under the cabinet. I then ran the new 24VDC to a motion sensor which has a 20min timer. I then powered the strips from the motion sensor and ran small gauge low voltage wire under all the cabinets.

A little tip. Measure the distance from the hole, in this case the old telephone box, to the floor. Add about 6inches and take that measurement and mark the snake. This is so you know you should be at the height of the box or a little beyond it.

I did undercounting lightning about 4 years ago. It took me awhile to find them but I found 18 inch strips of LED lighting that does not require a transformer. Each light strip has it's own step down transformer build into the LED strip. All you have to do it run 110 to each strip from you switch of choice and on they go. I believe the ones you are using here are of the old school. JS
