I’m from Marcelina and when I married my wife in PA we honeymooned in Harbor Springs. My brother took his wife up to this area for a honeymoon. We weren’t making a lot of money so , this is a nice town.
Drove on M-119 (Tunnel of Trees). He ain't kidding - it is very narrow. Always stay alert. If you want to take photos the stops are few and far between. Scenery is amazing though. It is 20 miles but never dull.
Let me guess. You feel SW Michigan sucks because.. you have to drive so far to see anything. Try living in middle of State. Near Flint and Saginaw is no picnic either.
