AZ don’t get Nas on Every track! Understanding Music and or Collaborations is sometimes it’s a free for All and at times it’s what the message You wanna deliver. AZ definitely get super excited when rhyming next to Nas. Never the other way around. I think AZ definitely come to Show n Prove especially when Nas is on the same song but He is not better on every track. His Energy and how He attack the track like on Life’s a B but in contrast when You analyze Nas verse on Life’s a B His sh? T was ILL with that laid back but Serious ish!
@@supremesun4580 bro nobody wants to hear that. AZ be washing nas on some tracks and that is ok. It doesn’t take away from nas, it happens to the best of them when they get on a track with another great lyricist. Nas is not god.
AZ has been underrated for years. It's a joke to not include this man among the best. Other than Gimme Yourz, Rise and Fall feat Little Brother, my favorite is Problems. Ice Spice is a joke 😂
Dawgg People don't understand how goated problems izz. It is just the best AZ song my fav also the beat the lyrics it motivates you and gets you energized. What a Song. Tell em about problems💯💯💯
AZ is the truth bro. True definition of a gangster and a gentleman (shoutout Styles P). Gotta do “The Format” next, also produced by DJ Premier. Debatably better than the Come-Up.
Ghostface Killah's album 36 Seasons ft. AZ and Kool G Rap is an amazing album that tells a story. Every song comes together to tell one hell of a story, it's so vivid you can see it
Would be dope if Ahmad reacted to 36 Seasons or the Twelve Reasons to Die 1&2 series. Hell of some storytelling albums right there. AZ was one of the sickest parts on 36 Seasons.
@@cbfwebs I didn't want to go into 12 Reasons, too hardcore! You heard the Apollo Brown version of the 1st one? The Brown Tape... I don't know which is better. I think the Brown Tape. It's on RU-vid music, check it out
AZ is dope, I`m from Jersey and my friend used to work at a pizza shop called Luigis in a town called Englewood. AZ used to go in their all the time and pick up food. He said he was pretty humble and never said much
Somebody said review AZ The Format. I agree. Edit: Also, Ive been waiting for you to get to that 1st single by The Firm for the longest. Firm Biz. Obviously youre already familiar with The Firm. They only did 1 album I believe. Foxy, Nas, AZ, Nature...but Nature wasnt on this 1. They got a video for it...so you can react to both audio and video on that 1 bro...since its radio edited. So AZ - The Format The Firm - Firm Biz
Facts…man Doe or Die was a classic album that was slept on…AZ still making tracks that are dope…I remember listening to Sugar Hill all through my high school days!!!
There are MC's and then there are LYRICISTS...AZ has been and STILL is an elite lyricist. You have to check out The Format and Sugarhill and his album with Nas and Foxy Brown "The Firm." AZ is a LYRICAL LEGEND.
The complex thing is just for clicks lol the whole point is cause a reaction and get folks to traffic over to their site. Also, how the hell has nobody told you react to “The Hardest” by AZ and Styles P. It’s two versions with different verses by the way. One was on AZ’s album and the other on Styles P.
EVERY Hip Hop generation has underrated artist. The beauty is that their quality shines through over time and AZ is NO different. No one remembers the "Hottest" artist the way they revere the quality artists, which is why Hip Hop is impossible to kill and channels like this (especially this one) are so important and enjoyable. Thanks for posting and enjoying this along with those of us that grew up with these great artist. Keep preserving the culture! Also F*** those "Top" whatever lists!! They've NEVER been accurate nor beneficial and only exist to sew outrage and discourse. Recent years just make that more obvious. Lastly please don't blame Ice Spice for her place. She didn't make the list, but is catching HELL for it. Lol. Also Speaking of "underrated" if you do another album review PLEASE could you do "The Cool" by Lupe Fiasco. More "recent" hip hop likes to pretend he and that album don't exist and that's a CRIME because it is a truly AMAZING project. Thanks again. ☺.
Peace King. Peace to the Family. That's why you a true hip hop head. You know who the all time greats are and AZ is definitely one of them. One of Brooklyn's finest💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lil Brutha, AZ has been my favorite emcee since his 1st album. Do a review on DOE OR DIE 2!!!!! What makes him the best in my opinion is HE NEVER SAYS HE'S THE BEST. EVERYBODY ELSE DOES!!!! ALSO DO A REVIEW ON HIS SONG CALLED "WE MOVIN"
I'm from N.Y,Ice Spice or anybody from the new school come close to AZ,NaS or any MC from the Old School, keep bumpin to the Real Deal & Remain Sucka Free...Respect my young brother
Bro the New Life is one of the best intros, like if it were to be a song it would be priceles, the beat was cold and laid back, lyrics were slow and meaningful. TBH AZ is one of the rappers I've seen doing really really less cuss words in a song. Man was a man FR FR
Love AZ he still puts out great music. AZ "Back to myself" was even a theme song for me as an adult. Loved Pieces of a Man and Aziatic. The Essence is on Aziatic and thats a disgusting Nas collabo. If you get a chance to listen to it you won't find a smoother song for 2 dudes going back and forth pause😂...
You should react to ghostface killah's the soul controller off the iron man album. The only reason why it wasn't on your iron man album reaction is because it got removed from further copies in 2001 due to sample rights not being cleared
AZ is and always been dope. But let’s Be clear. He don’t go “Toe to Toe” with Nas to Me….. AZ definitely step up Tremendously with Nas but don’t really have the same or near Batting Average on that Catalog/Discography! AZ definitely top 20-35 New York Emcee. F Complex XXL Billboard …
There's a lot of good hip-hop these days, the problem is mainstream isn't pushing them. With the exception of Cole, Kendrick, Travis, Wayne and a few others, you have to go and look for the good stuff. Denzel Curry should be bigger than Uzi. Boldy James should be bigger than Trippie Redd and so on. It's a shame.
Real recognise real. I’ve always said it, if Nas is the No1 Rapper, Az is No2. On multiple tracks they’ve done AZ has matched Nas bar for bar. I truly believe we’ll never see an Az and Nas album because Nas’s Ego realises if they do an album, Az will been seen as the one. Keep up the great reactions King Ahmad, you recognise them at realness 🙌🏻
You need to check out some Kool Keith and Aesop Rock ..different kind of lyricists but still NYC ...El p ..Cannibal ox...all must listens if ur a hip hop head
Complex don't speak for the culture. And plus it matters who was making the list. I don't know how they go about making that list whatever list I've ever seen from them is garbage. It could be younger people making the list and a lot of younger cats ain't on your level when it comes to the classic hip-hop shit! That's why I fuck wit u! You no-good hip-hop when you hear it!
AZ is in my top 5. Similar to Kiss, he never spit a 🗑verse. You should check out "Wanna Be There"(one of his best songs imo) "That's Real" ft. Beanie Sigel prod. by BINK, "I'm Back", "SOSA", and "Re-Birth"(2nd verse flow is 😱).
