The world he had known was gone, consumed by the raging inferno that had engulfed it. He wondered if anyone had survived, or if humanity was truly extinct. He thought of his family, his friends, and all the things he would never experience again. As he drifted further away, he gazed up at the stars, each one shining like a tiny beacon in the darkness. He felt a sense of peace, knowing that the universe was far larger than the problems of one world. Perhaps, in some distant corner of the cosmos, there was another planet where life flourished and new civilizations were rising. The astronaut's thoughts began to fade as his consciousness slipped away. He was no longer afraid, for he knew that his body would join the endless stream of matter and energy that flowed through the universe. He was a small part of something much larger, and that thought brought him comfort as he drifted into the unknown. In the end, the astronaut was lost to the void, a tiny speck in the grand scheme of things. But his memory would live on, a testament to the bravery and spirit of all those who dared to explore the vast unknown. As the world he knew perished, his soul became a part of something greater, something that would endure long after his time had passed.

This is absolutely incredible! This is just constructive criticism, but in the original, there is an extra tone one octave down that adds quite a lot… It’s just a little mixing but it adds a lot.

This song feels as if you had a very tragic life and every moment it felt like you were falling even further into a pit of misery. And then that one day when you’re dying, every moment from when you were young to your current state flashed before your eyes in short bursts. You wished that you could go back and “fix” all the pain, all the soured relationships, all of the damage that had been done--but you already knew it was too late. So you lie helpless, and let your fate take its course.

The second half of the song is the most calming thing ive ever heard and feels nostalgic even tho i just descovered it, like i should be remembering something close to my soul but have not thought about in years

It's even sadder because the astronaut is reaching for toriel😢. Imagine your lost in space you see a figure you spend 2 minutes floating to to it and the oxygen tank is dying so you spend the last 45 seconds comforted by the figure in the distance and this moment you know the you did the best you could in the world.finally you're oxygen ran out and you start dying but your not scared of it cause you know that it's gonna be alright and you're starting to black out but you hear one last sound coming from the figure:YOU ARE FILLED WITH DETERMINATION.

I'm so happy people are making moonbase alpha covers again!! There really is some beautiful unnamed quality about them. I have heard covers that use the original DECtalk Paul voice in an actual vocaloid program, but it doesn't have the same feeling as covers made using the game. Not to mention the insane amount of extra effort that comes with manually adjusting the text to speech. Cheers
