Underbite correction (Aka: Reverse Overjet / Reverse Overbite / Skeletal 3 Malocclusion)

In this video Dr. Williams will be discussing class 3 Malocclusions. A Malocclusion is an Orthodontic term for a bite that is out of line or not in the right place. Type 3 Malocclusion is a very rare condition that only affects about 5% of the UK population. It has the most genetic inheritance out of all Malocclusions. The video will discuss a few different examples of what it can do to the facial structure and what the process of adjusting the jaw structure looks like.

Hi Dr. What's up? please, can you tell us about.. 1_what is meant by low and high torque bracket, and in what cases we can use them? 2_ how can we prevent the wagon wheel effect, when a torque is applied to the anterior teeth especially the laterals, and if happend, how can we fix it? thank you so much 🌹🙏

Im getting a canine substitution and currently on class 3 elastics. Im currently using the bald eagle elastics (6.4mm) and was wondering how long it takes to corrent the bite. My orthadontist told me my bite is off by only about 1mm.

Hi, I know this is the wrong video to be asking it on but could you make a video on Tips on preventing relapse after correction of an open bite. My orthodontist said he can correct it with Invisalign. But would suggest me to undergo some sort of speech / my-functional therapy. Could you please do a video of Myofunctional therapy exercises or TIPS on how to retain the correction of an open bite. Many thanks !

@@bracebook1965 I can yes but could you just confirm your not going to contact them are you, regarding my case because that would be quite embarrassing for myself aha? Are they giving bad advice regarding my bite.? am I missing something
